Objective:Yishenjiangya prescription effects elderly essential hypertension and blood lipids (serum total cholesterol, triglycerides, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, high density lipoprotein cholesterol), endothelin-1 (ET-1) and nitric oxide (NO), thromboxane B2 (TXB2) and prostacyclin (PGI2), angiotensin?(Ang?) and calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) and to explore their elderly hypertensive vascular regulation of endothelial function and mechanism.Method:1. Select 2006?2007, Shandong Medical University Affiliated Hospital of 56 cases or patients to meet diagnostic criteria for Western elderly patients with hypertension and kidney qi deficiency syndrome TCM syndrome differentiation criteria, all selected patients were randomly divided into two groups, control group, experimental group and control group received oral captopril, experimental group were treated on the basis of Yishenjiangya prescription service, treatment for 4 weeks, blood pressure changes before and after treatment, Chinese medicine symptom efficacy, and blood lipids (serum total cholesterol,4), endothelin-1 (ET-1) and nitric oxide (NO), thromboxane B2 (TXB2) and prostacyclin (PGI2), angiotensin?(Ang?) and calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) and other related metrics.2. The 24 male spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR) were randomly divided into 3 groups:8 in each group, the model group, the captopril group, Yishenjiangya prescription test group, and a large set of male Wistar rats 8 as a control group.Captopril group, kidney buck square test groups were given the appropriate concentration and dose of captopril suspension, Yishenjiangya prescription suspension orally; normal control group and model group to the equivalent normal saline orally, do not give any drug, for continuous 4 weeks of treatment, the body weight, blood pressure and ET-1, NO, TXB2, PGI2, Ang?, CGRP determination results.Results:1. The test group the total effective rate was 93.3%, blood pressure, blood pressure control group, the total effective rate was 73.1%, the experimental group was significantly superior antihypertensive efficacy of the control group (P<0.01). Clinical trial group in reducing symptom scores and abnormal tongue, Improvement of pulse, much better than the control group (P<0.05); and the experimental group TC, LDL-C, HDL-C change than the control group (P<0.01), was statistically significant. The test group can significantly reduce plasma ET-1, TXB2 and Ang?, increased NO PGI2 and CGRP, the role better than the control group (P were<0.05,0.01).2. Yishenjiangya prescription can only reduce the growth rate of SHR weight, lower blood pressure, inhibit the synthesis of ET Ang?and lower plasma TXB2 levels and increased NO, PGI2, CGRP levels. Yishenjiangya prescription than captopril side with the improvement of endothelial function.Conclusion:1. The results show that Yishenjiangya prescription effects, can improve kidney deficiency type symptoms of elderly patients with hypertension in Chinese medicine for effective drug treatment of hypertension.2. Yishenjiangya prescription by regulating vascular endothelial function, blood pressure play a role in the mechanism of inhibiting the synthesis of Ang II and ET and lower levels of plasma TXB2, PGI2 also increased the level of increase in NO, PGI2, CGRP and the standard.
