| From the perspective of pedestrian travel,this paper studies the pedestrian suitability environment of residential streets.In the process of urban development,there are many problems,such as urban sprawl,excessive dependence on motor vehicles,single function of residential streets and popularization of access control areas,which lead to the deterioration of pedestrian space environment in residential streets and the reduction of residents’ walking travel.The pedestrian space environment of residential street is the basis and implementation unit of urban pedestrian,and it is the high incidence place of residents’ walking behavior,bearing the residents’ daily life.The construction of pedestrian suitability environment in residential streets can promote the walking of residents,reduce the incidence of chronic diseases,and improve the health status of residents,which provides a new perspective for improving the health level of residents.This paper focuses on the following three aspects:1.Construct the theoretical framework of pedestrian suitability environment in residential streets.Based on the theory of environmental behavior,this paper analyzes the positive and negative effects of pedestrian space environment on Residents’ walking.Based on the spatiotemporal characteristics of residents’ walking travel,this paper analyzes the elements of pedestrian travel,carries out the spatiotemporal simulation of residents’ daily walking travel,and studies the classification of pedestrian travel.Based on the residents’ walking demand and residents’ health demand,this paper analyzes the residents’ demand for the pedestrian space environment in residential streets,and studies the classification of pedestrian suitability environment in residential streets.2.Study the core issues of pedestrian suitability environment in residential streets.From the convenience and efficiency of the pedestrian path space environment,the safety and enthusiasm of the pedestrian perception space environment,the comfort and pleasure of the pedestrian landscape space environment,and the diversity and compactness of the building space environment along the street,the core issue of the pedestrian suitability environment in residential street is carried out.From two aspects of positive promotion and reverse barrier,this paper analyzes the current situation and influence mechanism of pedestrian suitability environment in residential streets,and studies the spatial elements of pedestrian suitability environment in residential streets.Based on the field survey of 10 residential streets and 2738 questionnaires,this paper uses SPSS software to conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis on the pedestrian suitability environment of residential streets,and establishes an ordered logistic regression model.On the basis of "eliminating the bad and reserving the good",this paper puts forward the principles and strategies for the construction of pedestrian suitability environment in residential streets.3.Comprehensive evaluation of pedestrian suitability environment in residential streets.Based on the fusion of subjective and objective,the BP neural network model is adopted to construct the comprehensive evaluation system of pedestrian suitability environment in residential streets,and the evaluation results are applied to the empirical study by using the ordered logistic regression model.The research results of this paper show that:1.Within the limited time window and space of residents,walking travel can be divided into four categories: necessary walking frequency,necessary walking travel time,triggering walking travel frequency and triggering walking travel time.2.The space environment of pedestrian path in residential street is a convenient and efficient environment.Pedestrian density and bus stop density are the most important spatial factors of pedestrian path.The results specifically affect the necessary walking frequency.It can form an ordered logistic regression model with pedestrian entrance density and bus stop density as independent variables.3.The pedestrian perception space environment of residential street is a safe and positive environment.The pedestrian perception space factors of residential street that significantly affect residents’ walking are the ratio of building interface near the street and the average pedestrian entrance and exit distance.The results specifically affect the necessary walking frequency and triggering walking time.It can form an ordered logistic regression model with the average pedestrian distance as independent variable.An ordered logistic regression model with the average distance of pedestrian entrance and exit and the ratio of building interface on the street as independent variables affecting the triggered walking travel time is formed.4.The pedestrian landscape space environment of residential street is a comfortable and pleasant environment.The spatial elements of pedestrian landscape of residential streets that significantly affect residents’ walking are the area of 500 meters square,the nearest distance of block Park and the shade ratio.The results specifically affect the triggered walking time and frequency.An ordered logistic regression model with the area of 500 meters accessible square and the nearest distance of block Park as independent variables can be formed.An ordered logistic regression model with the shade ratio as independent variable was established.5.The space environment of the buildings along the street in residential area is diverse and compact.The density of Road intersection and the mixing degree of residential years are the main factors that affect the walking of residents.The results of this study affect the necessary walking time.It can form an ordered logistic regression model with intersection density and residential age mixing degree as independent variables.The innovations of this paper mainly include the following three aspects: 1.From the four aspects of convenient and efficient walking path space environment,safe and positive walking perception space environment,comfortable and pleasant walking landscape space environment,and diverse and compact building space environment along the street,the comprehensive analysis framework of pedestrian suitability environment in residential street is constructed.2.The comprehensive evaluation system of pedestrian suitability environment in residential area is optimized by using subjective level of pedestrian travel efficiency and objective evaluation of street space elements,combined with BP network model analysis.3.The ordinal logistic regression model is used to improve the evaluation index of the spatial elements of the sample community,which improves the practical application of the environmental assessment of the pedestrian suitability of residential streets. |
