With the continuous rapid growth of global cruise passengers,the demand for cruise ships has increased and the trend of constructing large-scale cruise ships has become obvious.Constructing large-scale cruise ships belongs to the giant system engineering.It not only has the complexity of the traditional shipbuilding process,but also has the characteristics of a tight delivery cycle,a large volume of tasks,high requirements of planning accuracy and the large-scale complex cross-enterprise collaboration.The construction process is very prone to disconnections between supply and demand,task conflicts,resource wastes and delivery delays.In the ship technology system,planning is an effective means to optimize the large-scale cruise ship construction process.However,the existing studies have paid more attention on scheduling optimization than the task decomposition,time prediction and cross-enterprise collaboration for the large-scale cruise ship construction,making it very difficult to effectively solve the large-scale cruise ship construction problems.To achieve the efficient,lean and continuous large-scale cruise ship construction,this paper takes the adapted Work Breakdown Structure(WBS)as the basis and integrates the project governance theory,the enterprise integration concept and the "divide and conquer" notion to design a large-scale cruise ship construction planning system,inside which three new intelligent methods for rapid task decomposition,block manufacturing activity time prediction and cross-enterprise multi-sequential coordinated task collaboration,respectively,are proposed.With all the above,this research contributes a systematic large-scale cruise ship construction planning method for improving the shipbuilding productivity,promoting the agile and intelligent development of the large-scale cruise ship construction,and further enhancing the construction companies'order delivery capability.The main research contents include:(1)Based on the analysis of the large-scale cruise ship construction process and its planning features,a novel planning system enlightened by the integration of the project governance theory,the enterprise integration concept and the "divide and conquer" notion is proposed.The system includes a hierarchical multi-domain planning model based on the adapted WBS,the corresponding operation mechanism,a network plan generation mechanism and a multi-phase cross-enterprise collaboration planning stategy,thus forming an effective way to guarantee the continuity,consistency and planning efficiency of the large-scale cruise ship construction.The proposed system provides a theoretical basis for the following studies.(2)Task decomposition is the basis for optimizing the resource allocation,predicting the task time and controlling the cross-enterpise collaboration.However,the traditional methods do not consider the task decomposition constraints and usually have low efficiency.To address the problem,this paper introduces the heuristic intelligent planning principle,transforms the task decomposition requirements into the planning model constraints and then proposes a rapid task decomposition method using domain heuristic planning for the large-scale cruise ship construction project.Rapid large-scale cruise ship construction task decomposition is finally achieved through building the layered cases of the previous task decomposition knowledge and defining a hybrid case retrieval strategy on the top of the project family task decomposition factor.The case study proves that this method can provide a better task decomposition scheme for the large-scale cruise ship construction planners.(3)Time prediction for the large-scale cruise ship tasks is very important to control the cross-enterprise collaborative production.The existing methods are merely able to estimate the independent activity cycle,neglecting the slack time between two successive activities,which often results in the production rush or resource wastes.Taking the large-scale cruise ship block manufacturing process as an example,this paper studies the time prediction question of the large-scale cruise ship construction.Through developing a K-Means clustering strategy and an improved information entropy weighted Slacks-Based Measure(SBM)analysis model,the block manufacturing planning knowledge inside the large-scale cruise ship construction enterprise is initially explored,and then by using the artificial neural network to learn the knowledge,prediction of the effective activity time arrangement(the activity cycle and the corresponding slack time)based on the large-cruise ship block's features is realized.The method is verified to be efficient and accurate through a real case.(4)The complex production relationship of cross-enterprise multi-sequential collaborative tasks in the large-scale cruise ship construction leads to a pretty high risk of delivery delay.There is no effective method for this issue at present.To fill the gap,this paper uses the planning domain to control the cross-enterprise collaborative construction,and by adding the scheduling decision cost to the total cost of cross-enterprise collaboration,a multi-sequential task collaboration model is established.Furher,under the assumption of free market competition,a multi-issue-based negotiation method is proposed for the large-scale cruise ship construction collaborative task assignment.It realizes the optimization of the cross-enterprise collaborative production plan in the large-scale cruise ship construction and also improves the collaboration efficiency.By the experimental simulation of a case,this method is proved to be more advantageous in forming an optimized cross-enterprise collaboration scheme for the large-scale cruise ship construction.(5)Based on the above theoretical outcomes and in consideration of the requirements of intelligent large-scale cruise ship construction,a software system employing the multiple agents'ability of intelligence,collaboration and self-organization is studied.The system sticks to the basic principles of integration and extendibility for continuous deep intelligent planning achievements.A semantic Multi-Agent System(MAS)module is particularly designed to control the cross-enterpirse information sharing and manage the planning knowledge for the large-scale cruise ship construction.After that,distributed process models for the large-scale cruise ship construction planning are established.A prototype system is then developed and evaluated by the trial implementation in a ship company.
