The purpose of this study was to determine how the selected female Home Economics and non-Home Economics students of Fu Jen University in Taiwan perceived the Ideal Job in terms of their vocational needs and vocational values. Seven specific research questions were developed. The review of literature included a study of women's career development, vocational needs theories and related studies, vocational values theories and empirical literature. Procedures utilized to expedite the research process were: Adaptation of instrument, data collection, treatment of data, and analysis and discussion of data.;The subjects for this study consisted of 186 Home Economics students and 38 non-Home Economics female students of Fu Jen University.;The findings indicated that these selected female students placed a very high priority on Achievement Value. Both groups rated Status Value 2 the lowest.;A selected bibliography is included. Appended materials include the research instrument and a summary of raw data.
