Problem. The problem of this study was to determine the difference in achievement, both the cognitive and the affective, among students who learned through interactive instruction, simulation game, and presentational instruction in the Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary, Hong Kong.; Procedures. The population included all the twenty- six students enrolled in the course "Stewardship and Church Finance" during the special summer semester in 1988. These twenty-six students were divided into three groups, in each of which was one of the three teaching methods were used. Though administering the three cognitive and affective tests, data related to the cognitive and the affective achievement were collected, analyzed, and displayed in a format for comparison of the difference in the cognitive and the affective achievement.; The technique of two-way ANOVA was used to identify whether the mean differences across all levels of the three groups were constant across all levels of the three tests. The technique of one-way ANOVA was used to identify whether the mean difference of a particular test occasion was significant. Then, the technique of Multiple Comparison was used to determine which mean score of a particular group in a test occasion was significantly higher than the other two groups, and which mean score of a particular group was significantly lower than the other two on that test occasion.; Findings and conclusion. In cognitive domain there was significant difference across all test occasions. The comparison of the mean scores across the three groups on the three test occasions indicated that there was significant difference. In Posttest 1, Group 1 (Interactive Instruction) had the significantly highest score, while Group 2 (Gaming) had the lowest score. In Posttest 2, there was no significant difference among the three groups.; In the affective domain there was significant difference across the three test occasions, but there was no significant difference in the comparison of the mean scores across the three groups.; Further researches were recommended concerning teaching methods used by the seminaries in Hong Kong.
