This thesis attempts to explore and study the concerns from a new perspective to Hong Kong's Putonghua teaching and research, the main topics include:the pluralistic nature of Hong Kong's Putonghua teaching, the relationship between Hong Kong's Putonghua teaching career and teaching industry, Hong Kong's Putonghua teaching and the popularization of "Hong Kong accent Putonghua", Hong Kong's Putonghua teaching and Hong Kong "Bi-literacy and Tri-lingualism" policy-related topics, the topic of the relationship between Hong Kong's Putonghua teaching and the construction of Hong Kong language ecological environment, and directions in the development of Hong Kong's Putonghua teaching and research.These topics reflect the research on Hong Kong's Putonghua teaching has been extended to the concerns in the teaching objects and the people who are using this language, concerns in the social function and social impact of Hong Kong's Putonghua teaching, the language and the social phenomena related to the popularity of Putonghua in Hong Kong.I hope that the findings in this thesis can break through the current fields of Hong Kong's Putonghua teaching and research, and to contribute a small share in opening up a new world for research in Putonghua teaching and research.
