Abstract/Summary:
This dissertation presents a three-part model for evaluating the Medicare-funded End-Stage Renal Disease program. The model proposes a blend of quantitative and qualitative methods in the evaluation of the program's service distribution, treatment efficacy and overall merit. The writer demonstrates that this multi-model approach effectively addresses the multiplicity of factors involved in the End-Stage Renal Disease program.; Protocols and instrumentation are provided for each portion of the proposed research evaluation model. This model has implications for public programs outside the medical field.
