There is no previous research regarding the perceptions of sugar dating in the United States. The present study surveyed 335 individuals from a student and non-student population throughout the United States. The results indicated students were more accepting of sugar dating from a financial and social standpoint than the non-student group. There was no significant difference between the age of the participant and their perceptions or acceptance of sugar dating. Overall, participants were less favorable toward sugar dating when compared to a more traditional job for a college student. |
