| A hydrolytically active Co(III) center has been attached covalently to both primary and secondary sides of ;Also, structurally simple derivatives of anthracene were studied as potential fluorescence probes for metal ions and polyanionic species. Unprecedented fluorescence signal enhancements have been obtained, and since these changes can be understood in structural terms, further development of fluorescent probes based on the principles outlined in this study seems possible. |
