This quantitative research measured organizational structure, culture, and leadership styles in the aerospace industry and discerned the influence that these independent variables had on a firm's manufacturing operational effectiveness. The results of the research are that organizational culture, leadership, and structure do have an influence on the operational effectiveness of the aerospace industry through efficiency of controls, situational, politically-motivated leadership, and top-heavy structure. Data indicates that the planning and control process is the element most affected by these independent variables, which is also the area that has the most impact on the industry's operational effectiveness in firms that utilizes the technology based MRP system. Operational performance ratings improved as the scores for leadership and culture were more closely aligned. The overall rating for the industry was class "C" (of a, b, c, d).
