Abstract/Summary:
In this work, several novel high performance n-type quantum well infrared photodetectors (QWIPs) and two three-color, three-stack QWIP 4 x 4 focal plane arrays (FPAs) have been developed for 1–3 μm short-wavelength infrared (SWIR), 3–5 μm mid-wavelength infrared (MWIR), and 8–14 μm long-wavelength infrared (LWIR) detection.
