Abstract/Summary:
he purpose of this study was to assess the impact of the Cardiovascular Health Education Program (C.H.E.P.) on the cardiovascular health knowledge of participating adolescents. The study used a quasi-experimental, nonequivalent control group research design with a pretest and posttest to assess the impact of the Cardiovascular Health Education Program (C.H.E.P.) on the cardiovascular health knowledge of grade eight adolescents. One-hundred and forty-six adolescents participated in the study, with 88 in the experimental group and 58 in the control group.
