Abstract/Summary:
We study form factors of the proton derived from relativistic quark models. Relativistic wavefunctions are obtained .from nonrelativistic ones by transforming to the Infinite Momentum Frame using the free Melosh rotation. Spurious contributions to the electromagnetic form factors due to the choice of the light-cone axis are eliminated. Results from Feynman diagrams and Bakamjian-Thomas theory are compared.
