Abstract/Summary:
This was a study designed to shed new light on the effects leadership practices have on employees performing a process transfer within a semiconductor organization. The research, an exploratory case study analysis approach, combined Minnesota Job Satisfaction questionnaire (quantitative data) and in-depth interviews (qualitative data) as the two methods used for data collection. The quantitative data was evaluated in a face to face comparison analysis to comprehend the differences between the two groups; while quantitative data was tested using Spearman Rho correlation coefficients to determine whether the two groups were similar in nature from a statistical viewpoint. The results of the study indicated the two groups were both statistically significant, as provided by the correlation coefficient test conducted and similar in demographic, educational and gender characteristics as provided by the survey and interview information collected.
