School reform has been met with a wide range of success and failure. This study looks at the process of school reform, or revitalization, in one elementary school; the focus of which is on the early childhood component. Qualitative data, presented in a case study format, provides the information necessary for documenting the development of this particular early childhood education program from the perspective of a representative sampling of the community, parents, teachers, and administrators, Through a detailed description of how this process unfolded, an understanding of this type of effort, and its success or failure, will be documented.
