Distributor success: High performance work practices in the multilevel direct channel market

Abstract/Summary:
Previous researchers in high performance work practices (HPWPs) focused on industries such as manufacturing, finance, and health care. No previous researchers examined HPWPs in the Multi-level marketing (MLM) industry. This quantitative study consisted of a survey instrument distributed via sales meetings and online through a dedicated website. Although the sample set was not met, the study was viable and indicated that some HPWPs (both individual and aggregate with other practices) contribute to distributor success.
