Abstract/Summary:
Event Landmarks is a short fiction collection witnessing migratory subjectivities and nomadic existences. "Event landmarks" can be understood as the characters themselves (Hutch, Rae, Harper, June, etc) who are often marginalized or living between cultures or worlds. These characters mark human experience by witnessing forms of spatial and temporal dislocation and by negotiating often paradoxical relationships between freedom and belonging.
