The influence and mechanism of corporate social responsibility on corporate business activities has become a hot pot in theoretical research and management practice.In recent years,corporate social responsibility theory has developed rapidly in China.More and more Chinese enterprises have realized that fulfilling social responsibilities plays a important role on their sustainable development,and integrated social responsibility with corporate culture and daily management.Previous studies on the relationship between corporate social responsibility and innovation performance focused on the organizational and employee level,but few on team level.A focus on the performance of team level research proves that the corporate social responsibility have an impact on team innovation performance,but not enough to explain this effect,overlooked the intermediary or adjusting the process,there may be a mechanism for direct action or through intermediaries,existing study also can't answer,limits the practical significance of such research.In order to solve these problems,this study adopts the method of multiple theories to build a comprehensive model,based on social cognition theory and social comparison theory.This study adopts the methods of experimental research and questionnaire survey to discuss the chain effect of corporate social responsibility on team innovation performance at the team level,and tries to explain mechanism.The direct or indirect effects of these corporate social responsibility dimensions on team members lead them to induce different types of social cognitive processes and social comparison processes,thus producing different effects on team efficacy and team behavior.From the perspective of practitioners,understanding the different impacts of different dimensions of corporate social responsibility on team innovation can help managers develop more targeted corporate social responsibility strategies.The innovation and discovery of the research mainly have three points.First,we explored the internal mechanism of corporate social responsibility on team innovation.The ternary interaction framework of social cognition theory is introduced into the research model.Corporate social responsibility as a environmental factor be divided into external responsibility and internal responsibility two dimensions This paper applies corporate social responsibility to the research of team innovation and discusses the impact of different types of social responsibility on team innovation performance.The study found that the corporate social responsibility have a positive impact on team innovation performance.Second,we found team efficacy in corporate social responsibility impact on team innovation performance plays an intermediary role,and the team efficacy in corporate social responsibility not only the external and internal two dimensions with mediation role in effect on the performance of team innovation.Thirdly,this paper pioneered the establishment of a research model at the team level,and for the first time introduced team cooperation/competition orientation and high performance human resource management practices into the mechanism of team innovation.It is found that The high performance human resource management practices positively moderates the mediating effect of team efficacy on the relationship between corporate social responsibility and team innovation performance;the team competition/ orientation negatively moderates the mediating effect of team efficacy.Thus,we have better explained the internal mechanism of the role of corporate social responsibility on team innovation performance,expanded the application boundary,and further uncovered the black box of the influence mechanism of team innovation.This study proposes the following three management Suggestions.First,the corporate social responsibility practice should be integrated into the enterprise strategy and making important decisions;into the enterprise research and development design,production,product sales,and other links;into the human resources,finance,risk,information management,and other functions of the system.Enterprises should optimize the existing links and functions to achieve responsible management.Second,enterprises can use team efficacy to promote innovation,mainly including guiding the team and team members to imitate and implement the behavior expected by the enterprise,helping the team to establish the confidence to achieve the goal,and strengthening the team to implement the desired behavior,striving achieve performance goals.Third,the team should maintain the coexistence of competition and cooperation,by improving the level of high performance human resource management practices,adopting specific management measures,and formulating incentive methods that combine long-term with short-term and process with results,enterprises can avoid short-term goals,repetitive labor and vicious competition.
