Distributed radar network is a new united system that incorporates several widely-separated radar nodes with different types,frequencies,and parameters through networking technology.This system has many advantages,such as node independence,multiplexing gain,system robustness and so on,leading to a new trend in modern radar development.By optimizing the radar resources,system resource management takes full advantage of system potential,and in turn improves system performance.It has become one of the key technologies in distributed radar network,and hence received much attention in radar research field.Focusing on resource management research for distributed radar network,This thesis makes the following contributions:1.For optimization problem of power resource,Cramér-Rao lower bound(CRLB)is derived and adopted as an optimization criterion,then a power resource allocation algorithm for distributed radar network is proposed.By grid discretization strategy to reasonably balance the system layout,the radar localization performance for the whole surveillance region is efficiently improved.2.For optimization problem of beam resource,posterior Cramér-Rao lower bound(PCRLB)is derived and adopted as an optimization criterion,then a beam resource allocation algorithm for distributed radar network is proposed.By convex relaxation technology to efficiently utilize the feedback information,the system tracking error is significantly reduced.3.For joint optimization problem of multiple resources,predicted conditional Cramer-Rao lower bound(PC-CRLB)is derived and adopted as an optimization criterion,then a joint node and power resource allocation algorithm for distributed radar network is proposed.By an efficient two-step semidefinite programming(SDP)method based on optimization partition,The proposed algorithm not only ensures performance gains,but also significantly lowers the computational complexity.4.For robust optimization problem of system resources,the uncertainty model of parameters is established,then a robust resource allocation algorithm for distributed radar network is proposed.The proposed algorithm reduces the biases induced by parameter estimation,which significantly improves the system tracking performance and has both parameter robustness and computational efficiency.Simulation experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithms above.
