The Era Of Big Data And The Evolution Of My Country's Media Society

Since modern China has witnessed the enormous changes in media technologies,an evolution from the traditional society into the mediated one has become an irreversible trend with the transformation of traditional media.The widespread application of Big data technology has shaped the new environment of "data media".On the one hand,the Big data media has not only gradually surpassed the original intention of information exchange but also penetrated into every space where people produce and live,constantly transforming our cognitive ability and conscious world.On the other hand,due to an increasing reliance on Big data technology more often than ever,which is a common problem in today' s world,data dependence has become a common problem in society.Therefore,a data Media Society,as a new form of mediatized world,has come.The Big data media,according to the research,only gets developed and applied as a technology itself,however,the impact of Big data technology as a medium on the development of social forms has been ignored.This paper tries to explain the practical function of Big data media in constructing the human cognitive world and the new social forms,as well as the logical connection between media technologies and social morphological changes.By analyzing the interaction between Big data media and people ' s social cognition,it seeks to prove the satisfaction of media on human'sexpanding desire in the great changes of technology of today ' s world,although it in some way goes against human nature,or even brings out the inferiority of human nature.The full text,apart from the introduction,is divided into five parts:Chapter one mainly discusses the impact of Big data media on China mediated society,or the appearance of data media society.The first section introduces the emergence of Big data media from the widespread application of Big data technology in modern society.As a new form of media,it is characterized by seeing a world in a grain of sand,being rich in content,and according with the daily life.Since the new type of media environment,as a perceptual environment,has been built up by the Big data media for now,a new sensory experience can be gained to extend the human perception world.It provides a new set of symbols,the data symbols,to understand the world as a symbol environment,while as a social environment,it establishes a new"data mimicry environment" around the audience.The second section mainly discusses two issues:the logic and impacts of Big data technology in the formation of the data media society.The formation of media society mainly covers the logic of how the media technology influences the material basis,ideology,lifestyle and social culture.Thus,the Big data media develops a data dependence and "data mimicry environment”that might influence the whole world.Finally,he third section describes the three basic forms of data media society:the extension of human life,media and the world.The second chapter mainly discusses the existence of human beings in the data media society:the basic characteristics of "data people".The first section mainly introduces the characteristics of "data people ",namely "the blind obedience" of Big data media,the "insensitivity" of the objective world,and "dependence" on data information,and three forms of "data people":"the coders," "the marionettes," and"the data slaves." The second section describes "the coders" as a dissimilation of data media from the perspectives of the text production,the weak consciousness of subject and the audience roles of multiple power conflicts.In the third section,the alienation of human perception function in data media as " a marionette" is discussed from the perspectives of human initiative,spatial perception,and relational awareness.Finally,the so-called "data slaves" is analyzed based on the alienation of human behavior in the context of Big data media in section four.Chapter three mainly discusses how the media extension of data is exhibited by the Big data media.Four sections are included as follows:how the Big data Media dissimilates the media function by influencing the people's Media Consumption Habits;the mode of transmission by influencing information production and consumption;the contents of transmission by applying the data symbols and the non-symmetry in the system of information collection and organization;the communication space by transferring the media privacy power.It clarifies that the Big data medium is in fact an extension of the traditional media form.The alienation of the media itself can be achieved by the extensive use of Big data technology.The fourth chapter focuses on the basic conditions and main influence of the formation of data media society.In the first section,the widespread and rapid application of Big data technology is clarified as a core condition of constructing data media society.Basically,three conditions are analyzed as follows:first,the Big data technology as a fundamental driving force of the transformation of social relations;an implicit power tool for the social class;and the basic driving force for the reform of the media ecosystem.The second section describes one of the consequences of the formation of the data media society:the emergence of the Big data mimicry environment and its guiding and misleading effects on the general audience.In the third chapter,the other consequence is elaborated as an undergoing deconstruction and reconstruction of aesthetic culture,which includes the collapse of classical culture,the shift of cultural functions and the vulgarization of aesthetic culture.The fourth section introduces the three basic forms of data media society in the objective world:the virtual community of the micro-level,cyberspace of the meso-level,and data society of the macro-level.In the fifth chapter,the conclusion,the author emphatically describes the data media society as the basic composition of data,the information technology paradigm as the material basis,and informationism as the basic form of development.
