Research On Contemporary College Students’ Culture In China

Culture exists in human life in a variety of specific form,and also provides a rich variety of life style,and affects people’s cognition,changes people self and the objective world.College students’ culture is a unique cultural phenomenon,which includes the value system of college students,thinking mode,life style,code of conduct,and the material and cultural achievements they create.College students’ cultural directs and controls the college students’ thought and behaviors.Since the 1990 s,China academic circles made the research on college students’ cultural gradually,and achieved some results.Researching on the college students’ cultural,scientific guiding and cultivating the development of students’ culture is the important content of higher education in the new period.To strengthen the construction of contemporary Chinese college students’ culture is not only the difficult strategic task in the construction of socialist spiritual civilization,but also the important historical mission about the ideological and political education work.To guide the college students’ cultural developing healthy is an important innovation path of ideological and political education,and the inevitable requirement of the development of higher education,which relates to the comprehensive development of college students,even relates to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.This study is based on the historical background of the China’s reform and opening up and the new period of social transformation,and integrates the sociology,pedagogy,psychology and other related theories,mainly adopts literature research,interdisciplinary research,empirical research and the research methods of combining history and reality,which has carried on the system research on college students’culture.This study clarified the connotation of college students’ culture,and made a very close analysis of the logic relation of college students’ culture and college campus culture.At the same time,this study made a system research on the classification,characteristics and functions of the college students’ cultural,and found out the logical fulcrum of the college students ideological and political education theory on the perspective of Marxism Theory,Sociology and Psychology.Through the combing of the history process of Chinese college students culture breeds,formation and evolution,combining with the different periods of history and culture background,this study analyzed the various factors that affect college students’ cultural,then found out the general law and future trend of the development of college students’ culture.Through the network questionnaire survey and case analysis,we grasped the present situation and the characteristics of contemporary college students’ cultural comprehensively and objectively,and deeply analyzed the real plight we are facing.On this basis,combining with the transmission of history of Chinese college students’cultural and the combing of the current status of the contemporary Chinese college students’ culture,we summarized the reasons of cultural construction,and put forward the targeted to strengthen the construction of college culture,include the effective ways:Give full play to the advantages of advanced culture as the foundation of college students’ cultural construction;Set up the students’ subject status,determine the college students’ own needs is the starting point of college students’ cultural construction;Fully mobilize and use of social external and internal resources of colleges and universities as the strong support of college culture construction and fundamental guarantee,etc.Then we concluded that the college students’ culture construction is the effective ways to strengthen and improve college ideological and political education work in the new period.
