Study On Population Agglomeration In Northeast China And Its Impact On Economic Development

Under the background of the northeast old industrial base in northeast choose population agglomeration effect on economic development in northeast China as an entry point for exploration of regional development road is to combine the relationship between population and economic development in economics research with the reality of regional development,it depends on the labor force is an important economic factors of production inputs,and economic development is to realize the improvement of living standards of residents as the goal.Studies on population agglomeration are usually carried out from two perspectives.First,population agglomeration describes a regular pattern of population change;second,population agglomeration is an important part of factor agglomeration forming agglomeration phenomenon in studies on economic agglomeration and industrial agglomeration.This paper starts with the analysis of population agglomeration process in northeast China to explore the population background of this region's economic development,and on this basis further analyzes the role of population agglomeration in promoting economic development.This paper is divided into seven chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which respectively expounds the research background,research purpose,theoretical significance and practical significance of this paper,the research method combining normative analysis with empirical analysis,and the arrangement of the research content.The second chapter is literature review and the definition of relevant concepts.This chapter mainly reviews the core theories used in this paper,defines the concepts of population agglomeration and urban agglomeration,and sorts out and summarizes the relevant research results at home and abroad.The third chapter is the evaluation of urban development level in Northeast China and the status quo of urban agglomeration development.Firstly,factor analysis is used to evaluate the urban development level of Northeast China to form a comparison of urban development level differences,and then use cluster analysis to describe the data level of urban development level.The classification of cities in various provinces is the empirical basis for the division of urban agglomerations.Finally,the development status of each urban agglomeration is explained.Shen-da urban agglomeration,Chang-ji urban agglomeration and Har-da-qi urban agglomeration are the northeast regional urban agglomeration defined in this paper.Chapter four analyzes the current situation of population agglomeration in northeast China.This paper specifically divides the process of population agglomeration into inter-provincial migration,intra-provincial migration and natural population growth.In chapter four,in addition to discussing the current situation of population agglomeration in northeast China in these three parts,it also describes the current situation of population urbanization in northeast China.In addition to the number of people moving in and out of Liaoning Province,Jilin Province and Heilongjiang Province have a net outflow of inter-provincial population.In general,the number of inter-provincial migration population in the northeast region is lower than that in other regions of China.Inter-provincial and provincial migrations are mainly concentrated in urban agglomerations.In addition,the natural population growth rate in the northeast region is relatively low,and the population urbanization level is generally high,but the slow growth rate is also an important feature of population agglomeration in the northeast region.The fifth chapter analyzes the influencing factors of population migration in Northeast China.Population migration is an important part of population agglomeration.This chapter begins with the application of gravity model to explain the applicability of the inter-provincial population influencing factors in the provinces of Northeast China,and then the northeast region in the “mobile population dynamic monitoring data”.Respondents in the immigrants conducted a feature analysis of the dependent purpose of the migration as a model to infer the characteristics of different provinces that migrated to the northeastern region for work purposes.The results of the gravity model for fitting the inter-provincial population data of the provinces in Northeast China show that the immigrant population mainly comes from the neighboring provinces and several major population outflows in China.From the results of feature analysis,economic reasons generally make the immigrant population in the northeastern region tend to work for business and other characteristics of the individual characteristics will also have a certain impact.Chapter six analyzes the impact of population agglomeration on economic development in northeast China.This part analyzes the role of population agglomeration in promoting economic development from three perspectives: the adjustment of industrial structure,innovative development and the influence of regional economic growth.After elaborating the industrial structure and the status quo of regional innovation and development in northeast China and the development gap between cities,this paper sorts out relevant theories and research conclusions,and investigates the significance of population agglomeration effect with empirical analysis.The results of cross-section data analysis show that population agglomeration can exert influence on economic development through industrial structure and innovation,while the results of panel data analysis show that population agglomeration has a significant impact on economic growth in northeast China.Chapter seven is the research conclusion and policy suggestion.First of all,the research conclusion is summarized in this chapter,after that based on the research conclusion on how to promote economic development in northeast China should made by expanding employment,to improve the population agglomeration of northeast,through science and education ability to enhance the level of human capital in northeast China,promote urban and rural population flow to further accelerate the pace of urbanization and population in northeast China in northeast industrial development and population agglomeration of combining the concrete Suggestions.
