| Tibetan Whistling Archery of Kongpo is developed in the traditional Tibetan Agricultural and pastoral society.With the great change of social economy and culture,in which the modern sports are certainly the mainstream,it is difficult for Whistling Archery of Kongpo to accommodate into the post-industrial society due to its natural deficiencies.However,since China is forging itself into a great country with rich cultures,it is important to explore the development process of Whistling Archery of Kongpo in order to better inherit and preserve the excellent Tibetan culture.Based on the theory of cultural change and the inclusiveness of C hinese culture,this paper studies the cultural connotation of Tibetan Whistling Archery of Kongpo,the factors about how it has evolved into a competing sport,the innovation of how to increase its competitiveness,and the evaluation of the effect.With the help of a variety of research methods,such as literature review,field investigation,experimentation,questionnaire and logical analysis,the author believes that this study will be able to enrich the theoretical system of national traditional sports with profound application significance.The main findings of this study are as follows:1.The original form of Whistling Archery of Kongpo is rich in cultural connotation and worthwhile for inheritance,but the complexity of its practice,entertainment-oriented nature,and rule deficiencies in competition hinders it from becoming popular and thus,its promotion and development is thwarted.Only by making it more competitive and standardized,could this sport be inherited,popularized and accepted by modern society.2.The standard for the Whistling Archery Field has been reformed,with a range of 40 m,a firing area of 3m,a waiting zone of 3m,a target height of 170 cm,a field length of 60 m and a width of 8m-10 m.The moving target frame and movable target frame of the ring arrow have been invented,which can solve the real problem that the fixed target frame limited the development of the ring arrow and is beneficial to the popularization of the Whistling Archery.The arrows are supposed to be made of natural materials,with a diameter of no more than 5cm,and a weight of 13g--18 g,a target ring diameter of 5cm,a middle white ring diameter of 11 cm and an outer black ring diameter of 17 cm.The standardization for the venue and equipment will increase the concept of fairness in competition.3.The original system of rotating competition has been transformed into alternating shooting.This new method of competition can increase the degree of direct confrontation,the competitiveness and the attractiveness of the game,and complies with the development principles of modern sports.Featured with a simp le form,a fierce competition,a quickened rhythm and a clear victory or defeat,this competition of modern Whistling Archery of Kongpo is real y worth watching.4.Improve the scoring methods by using 10 points,8 points,6 points,4 points and 2 points as scoring units,and therefore the difficulty of shooting target ring is distinguished scientifically,so is the different situation of the target ring shedding.The distance between different scoring sections is consequently widened.This new simple scoring method can improve archery skills and is easy to confirm who will be the winners.Proved to be effective in practice,this new scoring method has already been adopted by Linzhi City,Tibet Autonomous Region.5.Improve the "Competition Rules of Whistling Archery" to transform it into a modern sport with strong competitiveness and confrontation.It has been confirmed that modern Whistling Archery is mature in practice rules,effective in fit-keeping and valuable for inheritance and popularity.Thus,moder n Whistling Archery of Kongpo can meet the changes of the society and is significant to the development of the traditional Whistling Archery. |
