International education of public high schools refers to a model in which under the background of globalization,dimensions of international and cross-cultural education,teaching vision of school,curriculum,teaching,teachers,scientific researches,education,communication and specific process are blended into the school education to promote diversified development of teachers and students in educational practice.Under the background of internationalization of education and the rapid development of internationalization of basic education in the practice of running a school,a large number of international curriculum have been introduced into China,and public high schools in the practice of international education have achieved fruitful results at the same time,while facing problems like inaccurate location of international education,and unclear ideas of how to run international education models,the lack of standardization of the introduction of curriculum and its related integration,and inappropriateness of teaching content.At the same time,public high school curriculum objectives,management,structure and implementation are also challenged.How the international and cross-cultural education dimension match the practice of running a school and strengthen international school of public high schools have important and practical significance to promote the development of Chinese high school education.The study focuses on the senior international education practice of a public high school in the northwestern region of China from the perspective of cross-cultural educational concepts and digs into its practice including the process of observation and analysis,tracing its history education,analysis of curriculum structure and teaching practice.And based on the various elements of supporting school curriculum reform such as philosophy and vision,management and organization,teachers and students,exchanges and cooperation,and its development status,this study adopts cross-cultural education concepts as the background to examine and explore the problems and causes of international education in senior public high schools,and puts forward the strategies and measures with an aim to provide a reference in terms of practical experience and theoretical basis for internationalization of the high school education and the use of cross-cultural ideas in the application of educational theory in international education practice in public high schools.School education is a carrier to implement cross-cultural education,and the improvement of teaching quality needs suitable curriculum,teaching content,scientific teaching process,the mechanism of common development of teachers and students,and an open and cooperative education platform.From the four dimensions of international education practice of public high school education,the internationalization of public high school education boosts the improvement of curriculum and teaching,strengthens the school running,promotes international understanding and cross-cultural education,and pushes high school new curriculum reform.At the same time,there is much room for improvement in the practice of international education including the need for more accurate location of international education and its standardized operation,the optimization of curriculum integration and teaching organization,the cultivation of students' diverse needs,the development of cross-cultural education of English subjects and other subjects,and attention to be paid on the spread of positive influences of international education on long-term development of public school education.Finally,this study ponders over the improvement of the operation of the internationalization of public high schools.With the new norm of positive education policy as the foundation of the healthy development of international education,the guide of clear concepts and consensus of international school-running,the adherence to right value orientation,and through the reform and development of English subjects and other subjects,the real internationalization of education and the cultivation of international professionals can be achieved.
