In the process of economic development, social transformation and demographic structure transformation,China has made remarkable achievements in poverty reduction.Due to the deterioration of the elderly's physiological function, the decline of the ability to adapt and adjust and the decline of social participation, they are easily reduced to the poor class. At the same time, the implementation of the one-child policy led to a long period of low fertility level, the old man to dwell with the number of children are falling, the family structure presents the change trend of miniaturization, lead to weaken gradually, the traditional family support system of the elderly care for daily life and mental comfort lend support especially, which will further increase the risk of old people in poverty. Therefore, although the problem of food and clothing of the elderly group has been solved and the quality of life has been greatly improved compared with that before,if we examine this group in terms of the connotation of poverty proposed, there are still a considerable number of elderly people suffering from poverty of varying degrees. Then, how will the welfare of the elderly group changes?what role does the transformation of family pension model play?Based on the fact that the traditional family pension can't be sustained, this paper analyzes the impact of the transformation of family pension model on the rural elderly poverty.First of all, based on the summary of the characteristics of the elderly poverty changes under different family pension modes,an analysis framework of the impact of family pension mode on the elderly poverty is constructed.Secondly,CHARLS(2011-2015)tracking data is used to test.Meanwhile, the impact path of family pension mode transformation on the elderly poverty is analyzed. And further analysis of the above effects in different characteristics of the elderly population differences; Finally, based on the research results of the project, suitable family endowment mode is explored, and policy Suggestions are put forward to reduce the poverty of the elderly and improve their welfare.Through rigorous methods to demonstrate the impact of family pension model transformation on the poverty of the elderly and its influencing ways, the research content of the poverty of the elderly is enriched, and the basis is provided for the formulation of poverty intervention policies for the elderly and the construction of social pension service system. The study found that:(1)The analysis indicates that based on the objective poverty with MPI-?.the Elderly have the highest incidence of poverty-stricken in the subjective welfare. The analysis indicates that based on the income poverty standard, the Elderly have the lowest incidence of poverty.(2)Empty nest increases the proportion of deprivation in subjective welfare dimension and reduces the proportion of deprivation in income security and health dimension.Empty nest does not significantly increase the incidence of multidimensional poverty among the elderly. There are significant gender, age and regional differences.(3)The mechanism shows that the economic support of children and the non-economic support of spouse ensure the income security and health of the empty nest from being deprived;Children's non-economic support reduces the deprivation of subjective welfare dimension of the elderly from empty nest to some extent. This indicates that more attention should be paid to the empty nesters living alone under the condition of limited endowment resources. In addition to strengthening the construction of community infrastructure to improve the independent living ability of these old people, more professional nursing staff should also be cultivated to meet their care needs.
