Study On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Mutual Aid Elderly Care For The Empty Nest Elderly In Rural Areas

At present,China’s population aging process is accelerating,and the proportion of empty nesters is increasing,which makes the whole society pay more and more attention to the solution of the elderly pension problem.All sectors of society have carried out research and Practice on the exploration and application of the new pension model.In the process of exploring the pension model to meet the pension needs of rural empty nest elderly,mutual pension has attracted the attention of governments at all levels and many scholars because of its low operating cost and strong resource utilization ability.At present,the rural empty nest elderly mutual aid pension model represented by Feixiang District of Handan city has been put into operation,and the relevant research has also achieved certain development.However,in a comprehensive view,the rural empty nest elderly mutual aid pension has encountered some problems in the development process,and its research also lacks a comprehensive analysis perspective.This paper makes a comprehensive investigation and Research on the willingness of rural empty nesters to provide mutual support for the elderly and the operation of rural empty nesters,finds the problems and reasons of rural empty nesters’ mutual support for the elderly,and explores and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the development of rural empty nesters’ mutual support for the elderly.Specifically,firstly,by systematically combing and summarizing the research literature on mutual pension at home and abroad,clarify the focus,hot spots and deficiencies of the current research on mutual pension,and define the concept and scope of rural empty nest elderly and mutual pension in combination with the existing concepts and actual situation.Secondly,Handan City,Hebei Province is selected as the sample area,and the willingness of rural empty nesters to provide mutual support for the elderly is analyzed by questionnaire.Feixiang District,a typical area,is selected in the sample area,and the operation status of rural empty nesters’ mutual support for the elderly is investigated by interview and field investigation.Thirdly,combined with the theory and practice of social ecosystem,it is clear that the core of mutual care for the rural empty nest elderly is how to make the elements flow smoothly between the subjects and circles,so that more rural empty nest elderly can realize mutual care,so as to promote the sustainable development of mutual care for the elderly.It is found that the actual occupancy rate of mutual care for the rural empty nest elderly is still low,Low resource utilization;Insufficient family support and insufficient participation of social forces;The content and form of mutual assistance are single;This paper explores the causes of the problems,such as the shortage of development funds and poor sustainability.Finally,it proposes to publicize the concept of active aging and create an atmosphere of mutual assistance for the elderly;Improve the voluntary service system and strengthen the institutionalized arrangement of voluntary service;Strengthen guidance and standardization,and enrich the contents and forms of mutual assistance;Integrating resources and raising funds through multiple channels,in order to provide theoretical guidance and practical suggestions for the development of mutual pension,and effectively improve the living standard and quality of the empty nest elderly in rural areas.
