HaDing is an outstanding Chinese watercolor painter in the 20th century and a model of Shanghai art inheritance.He has made significant contributions and influences in both the pioneering of the field of fine arts and the teaching of fine arts.Constrained by the current domestic history of watercolor painting and the perfect degree of the related theory carding and form the lack of historical and cultural memory,especially the case for the value of the excavation and the positioning of watercolor painter,as a result,this paper takes Shanghai Mr HaDing study for the object,put problems in the specific historical and cultural context,with HaDing's watercolor painting creation and concept as the center,respectively from the origin,studio style development,aesthetic thought,knowledge teaching this argument several levels,to evaluate its unique academic style,reducing parts covered with history of Shanghai fine arts resources,It has typical value and contribution to the improvement of the academic history of Chinese watercolor painting and the development of Shanghai style watercolor paintingThe main structure of this paper is divided into four chapters(excluding the introduction):first,the influence of the early HaDing era and its ideological origin;second,the breakthrough and contribution of HaDing's painting style;third,HaDing's artistic concept and painting spirit;fourth,HaDing's teaching practice and theoretical contributionFrom the perspective of the times,this paper first combs and studies the situation,group interaction and ideological acceptance in the early period of HaDing,and then explores the "clues" of art transformation and development in the later period of HaDing from the cultural roots.There are two sources of his artistic experience and thought formation:one is the conscious absorption of Chinese tradition and Western culture;the other is the artistic experience promoted by the "heteronomy" factors such as the current situation and the group,which specifically involves the "shaping" role of regional culture,so that HaDing and the Shanghai group form a similar "cultural character" and shoulder the inheritance of the Shanghai culture.Next,this paper focuses on the study of the evolution and breakthrough of HaDing's creative style.According to the key nodes of different periods,it combs three important characteristics in the process of HaDing's style transformation,i.e.,the style of imitating nature,the image style of brush and ink integration" and the realistic style of Frontier themes,which are placed in the development process of contemporary Chinese watercolor painting for comparison It also discusses the self-conscious exploration of the themes of the nationalization of modern and contemporary art,the integration of Chinese and Western art,and the development of thematic art.From the perspective of form analysis alone,HaDing's works,no matter what style they are,all present the unique features of"nothing is inert" as Roger Fry said,and have a specific brand of the times,showing HaDing's opening up of the localization proposition in watercolor creation which breaks the established formula.On this basis,this paper further in-depth interpretation of the art concept under the image of HaDing style,found the spiritual essence behind HaDing's works.Also based on the three important style features combed above,this paper explains how HaDing integrates the Western modeling language with the traditional cultural spirit,forms a unique speculative artistic concept,and reveals his in-depth thinking and perception of the traditional aesthetic spirit and the philosophy of the universe and life.Through this progressive way of argumentation,the value orientation of HaDing's artistic style and concept is comprehensively discussed.In addition,this paper also studies the fine arts teaching of HaDing.HaDing's studio and the private studio group at the same time constitute a special education phenomenon in the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China.This is also a period of covered course in the current art education research of Shanghai school.Through analyzing the linkage between the cultural orientation,policy guidance and the art education of the private studio behind the socialization transformation of art education at that time Department,further research the value and achievement of HaDing's idea and practice formed in the establishment of the studio,respectively study HaDing's teaching mode,education ideas and ideas,and summarize HaDing's contribution to the art education of Shanghai school.At the same time,the two basic theory textbooks compiled by HaDing at that time had a positive and extensive impact on several generations of Chinese artists.Through the research on the social effect,content setting and theoretical characteristics of these two textbooks,this paper helps us to understand the concept and method value of HaDing's art education more deeplyTo sum up,we can get a further comprehensive and in-depth understanding of HaDing's artistic achievements from different perspectives in the corresponding fields,so as to supplement the relevant research in the current academic field.Through discussing the breakthrough and thinking of HaDing in the development of watercolor painting on language and fusion,and combining with the interpretation of his educational practice and educational philosophy,we can rediscover it The art value and historical position of HaDing.
