Pan Tianshou is a generation who melts poems,books,paintings,and prints in a furnace.He is particularly famous for his magnificent,majestic,and powerful ancient artistic features.He is an influential master in the history of Chinese painting in the 20 th century,and a hot spot in the field of contemporary Chinese painting research.In the current academic research background,Pan Tianshou's painting inscription should be particularly noticed by the academic community which is unique and extraordinary.Based on the national tradition,melting the ancients and casting the present,opening up a new path,it is a finishing touch by complementing its paintings.Therefore,taking Pan's painting inscription as a research topic is very necessary and beneficial for a comprehensive and indepth study of Pan Tianshou's artistic achievements.This article takes Pan Tianshou's painting inscription ideology and practice as the two main lines,and discusses it in four chapters.Chapter 1: Pan Tianshou's painting ideology;Chapter 2: Pan Tianshou's painting inscription content;Chapter 3: Pan Tianshou's painting inscription form;Chapter 4: Pan Tianshou's painting inscription style and screen layout.These four aspects complement and complement each other.Pan Tianshou's theoretical research on Chinese painting inscriptions is rich,and the most detailed one is "Research on Chinese Painting Names".This article discusses the origin,development and painting layout relationship.Especially,the concept of "title beauty" is also a summary and sublimation of the development of the theory and practice of painting inscriptions in previous countries.This artistic language was promoted to an independent form of artistic aesthetics.The content of painting inscriptions must be based on the creation of the picture,and it has the function of supplementing the explanation of the picture.Pan's paintings have a wide variety of styles and content,and they are very impressive,such as font size,inscription poems,notes,seals,etc.The focus of each content is also different,among which the name number,year and month,room name,etc.mainly reflect the author's life experience and painting environment.Painting poems,notes,painting titles,etc.describe,extend,enrich the connotation of the picture,expressing the author's emotions.Studying the content of Pan's painting inscriptions helps to comprehensively and profoundly understand his life experience and artistic thought.Appropriate layout of the pattern of inscription has an important role in coordination and composition of the picture.Pan Tianshou's inscription style includes three aspects: the style layout of the inscription itself;the genre,style and sequence of the relevant one;the shape,size,yin and yang of the style and the related layout of the inscription seal.Pan Tianshou paid particular attention to the relationship between the inscriptions and the layout of the screen.The layout of his inscriptions is no longer just to fill the gaps in the screen,but more importantly,involved in the construction of the structure of the painting and the layout of the rules and regulations.For example,the inheritance and transition of the screen layout,the fictitious and the dense,the risk-making,the corner relationship,etc.have become an indispensable important part of the structure of the painting.The artistic achievements of Pan Tianshou's painting inscriptions and the national cultural spirit contained therein not only indicate the direction of the current decline in the art of painting inscription,but also provide precious materials for relevant academic research.
