| Teachers need to think about improving teaching methods and information literacy as well as the change of teaching concepts with the deep application of technology in school education in the information age.Technology involvement is superficial with the application of technology in school education in the information age,in fact it is essentially concerned about students’ learning and how technology can promote the effectiveness of learning. In this context, the study takes the primary Japanese sentence pattern learning with native Chinese learners as a case study.the research of technology promoting misconception transformation from the perspective of learning and development community was conducted,it focuses on the following three issues: First, what are Japanese learners’ cognitive biases when studying primary sentence pattern? Second, how to improve learners’ academic performance and strengthen their comprehensive quality from the perspective of learning and development community? Third, what are the models and mechanisms that can be induced through empirical research?Qualitative and quantitative research methods are adopted including experimental research, literature analysis, questionnaire and interview, content analysis, etc.Research Question 1,this study is based on the improved second-order diagnostic test through literature analysis,a cognitive diagnostic tool for Japanese learners’ primary sentence pattern learning bias has been developed through three research stages: the formation of open questionnaire test, general second-order questionnaire test and final second-order questionnaire test.A total of 185 Japanese major freshmen are involved in the instrument development study.A survey of Japanese learners is conducted by using the test instrument and the survey finds that Japanese learners have three types of misconceptions in the primary sentence pattern learning: The type of Syntactic Rule, the type of Syntactic-Semantics,the type of Syntactic-Pragmatics.The main cause is the obstacle imposed by learners’ native thinking pattern on the understanding of other cultures.Research Question 2,teaching verification activities and misconception transformation of Japanese learners’ misconception were carried out.Guided by CTCL paradigm theory, the study has carried out a misconception transformation from this perspective on the basis of building a learning and development community.Taking the whole Japanese primary sentence pattern learning as an example, two experimental classes and one reference class have been set up,around the flexible language, body, posture and honorific,a semester of 160 hours of teaching experiment was carried out.Quantitative and qualitative analysis was used to analyze the test scores, teaching logs and in-depth student interviews in the teaching experiment. The results show that the misconception transformation design research realizes learners’ misconception transformation and improves the academic performance and comprehensive quality.Researches indicate that learning and development community perspective enhances the studies in the transformation model of Japanese learners’ misconception in primary sentence pattern learning via the appropriate utility of technological elements.Technological elements function greatly in creating Japanese-learning sociocultural atmosphere, cultivating and forming learning and development community culture, helping learners form Japanese thinking pattern and change their misconception through situaitonal experience interactions. The mobile terminals and learning platforms connect virtual and real, online and offline world, constructing smoothly operating Japanese community interaction networks and simulated Japanese cultural atmosphere. The integrated online and digital learning resources create an immersive learning environment for community members on studying sentence patterns. The "virtual" and "real" learning spaces share different types of sentence patterns learning activities and reduce the cognitive load effectively.Technology connects individual cognitive thinking with the outer world, rendering learners more aware of the social and cultural aspects of language learning.Research Question 3,Firstly,it sums up the two-stage transformation model(TSCM),which is a transformation model of Japanese learners’ misconception in primary sentence pattern learning. The transformation model consists of learning environment, core ideas, realization path, transformation strategy and concrete transformation methods. It advocates that sentence pattern acquisition should be carried out successively in the space of "virtual" and "real" from easy to difficult stages. In two stages of situational experiential interaction, learners gradually understand the cultural thinking related to Japanese sentence patterns through multiple cognitive conflicts and cognitive schema reconstruction, and realize misconception transformation.Secondly,an analysis of the function of the interpretation of misconception transformation-situational experience interaction on the understanding of foreign cultures helps manifest the working logic between relevant elements: in the non-target language context, the appropriate utility of technology will establish a Japanese sociocultural environment, under which the situational experience interaction will arouse cognitive conflicts between different cultures, making Japanese learners form Japanese cultural thinking pattern and avoiding misconception. The study draws the following conclusions: Firstly, the learner’s self-cultural thinking plays a negative transfer role in Japanese primary sentence pattern learning, which results in three types of misconception.Secondly, the technology-created Japanese-learning cultural atmosphere helps learners to form the Japanese thinking pattern and change their misconception through situational experience interaction among community members.Thirdly,a “Two-stage Transformation Model” was constructed and a misconception transformation mechanism of “Situational Experience Interaction to Achieve Cross-cultural Understanding” was found. |
