Comparisons Of Chinese Bamboo Flute?Japanese Ryuteki?Korean Daegum

There are so many kinds of flutes around the world.The material,structure,playing skill and playing posture of these flutes are different.As an ancient musical instrument,Chinese bamboo flute had experienced complicated developing history.Since China,Japan and Korea are near to each other,Korea and Japan is influenced by Chinese musical culture deeply.Japanese ryuteki and Korean daegeum are typically musical instrument influenced by Chinese musical culture.Korean and Japanese transverse flutes have more strong relationship with Chinese bamboo flute than other country's flutes.Korean and Japanese transverse flutes also played important role in Korean and Japanese traditional music.Since then,the comparison between Chinese bamboo flute,Japanese ryuteki,Korean daegeum have worth important research value.we can find a lot of similarity between three countries' transverse flutes,such as material and structure,membrane hole,playing gesture,teaching method,notation method and so on.Though there are so many similarities,actually they are different in details.Those details contributes the personality of each transverse flute of three countries.By using performance art,instrumentation method and field survey method to study these content from different perspectives can help us understand the deeper aesthetic standard differences between three countries.Finally,we can apply the achievement we got from the study to improve the Chinese bamboo flute art and restore culture confidence.
