Culture is the soul of the development of a country and a nation,and is the foundation for the development of society.It is the responsibility and mission of educators and academic researchers in the new era to research into how to integrate popular songs,an important part of the literary form and popular culture,into life and into the times and give full play to the positive infectivity of its ideological and political education effect,thus realizing the function of “civilizing and educating people with culture”.Karl Heinrich Marx explicitly summarized "fantasy","imagination" and "figure" as the characteristics of art mastering the world in Economics Manuscript From 1857 to 1858.How does the art form of pop songs affect the concept and attitude of people,especially young people,and then acts on society and the times;why and how can we enhance their souls and the positive infectivity of the social atmosphere and the spirit of the times are the questions that this article attempts to answer,based on the construction mechanism of the infectivity of popular songs.This thesis studies the proposition of infectivity of popular songs from the perspective of ideological and political education" with the help of multidisciplinary theoretical tools and research methods,and explores how to carry out ideological and political education with the help of literary and artistic carriers,and study how to root soul with literary and art from the perspective of civilizing people and enriching souls with culture and infection,with a view to detailing,refining and implementing them,inspiring the positive energy of the young people of the new era,and laying the ideological foundation and spiritual strength for the Chinese dream of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Based on the above background and purpose,this thesis takes popular songs as the carrier and youth as the research object,and studies the possibility and feasibility of the popular songs in the field of ideological and political education.From the perspective of integrating theory and practice,combining qualitative research and quantitative research,and uniting history and reality,the thesis conducted systematically study on the theoretical basis,internal mechanism,operational mechanism and enhancement path of popular song infectivity.The thesis can be summarized into four parts:The first part discusses the theory and methods of the infectivity of popular songs.There are several reasons why popular songs can quickly become popular in a short period of time,such as aesthetics,public psychology,and communication."Infectivity" is the intentional or unintentional,active or inactive initiative of individuals in social life.Under the influence of a kind of behavior and thought,infectivity has a positive or negative impact on the individual’s ideas and behaviors.Among many theories,the "acceptance theory" originating from aesthetics,the "emotional education theory" from pedagogy,the "field theory" from sociology and the "mental dynamics" theory are related to exploring the infectivity of popular songs.The second part combs the evolutionary process of the popularization of popular songs since the new period,and confirms the positive and negative aspects of its infectivity in historical changes.By combing of the evolution of popular songs in the 40 years of reform and opening up,this article divides popular songs into six stages of Hong Kong and Taiwan popular songs,campus popular songs,“Northwest Wind” popular songs,“Red Songs” in the new era,online popular songs,and the new era’s main theme songs and concluded that the positive infectivity of popular songs lies in adhering to ideals and beliefs,strengthening value guidance,enhancing spiritual guidance,enriching aesthetic experience,etc.,while negative infectivity stems from the dissolution of value establishment,value-oriented deviation and the weakening of value leadership,thus put forward the mission of ideological and political education,providing a historical background and basic premise for follow-up research.In the third part,through the establishment of the specific research target of the theme of "popular song infectivity" and by studying cases of singers and aesthetic workers,the thesis analyzes the composition of popular songs’ infectivity,mainly including elements of emotion,mood and time.And through the 2019 CCTV Spring Festival Evening Gala and other successful music products and quantitative empirical analysis as well as other aspects to explore the connotation of the theme of "popular song infectivity".Interviews with successful singers and aesthetic workers who have made outstanding contributions can gain experience and feelings that are different from those of outsiders;successful music products can give a hint of the infective points of popular songs;qualitative and quantitative analysis in the form of individual interviews can generally clarify why pop songs can be popular,how to be popular,how to cultivate and infect people in the popular process.These different sustaining points have jointly constructed an empirical framework for the study of the popularity of popular songs in the field of ideological and political education.The fourth part is based on empirical research,trying to explore the constructive mechanism of popular songs’ infectivity and effective paths.The construction mechanism of pop song infectivity in the perspective of ideological and political education can be summarized into three levels: the soul resonance between subjects and objects,the aesthetic field culture and the mass media publicity,with the aesthetic resonance between the music audience and the popular song as its kernel.In the practice of enhancing its positive infectivity,we can make a corresponding attempt in several directions,such as creating a good business operation mechanism from the production of popular songs,the implementation of the educational concept of “educating people with aesthetic” on campus,the integration of mainstream media and online media and self-media,and the “ government-marketindividual” collaboration.Popular songs are the crystallization of the wisdom of a generation of musicians and a possible carrier of ideological and political education that has long been neglected.Based on the practice of ideological and political education,it is the good wishes and ultimate destination of this research to promote the concept of educating people with the help of popular songs that are particularly infectious to young audiences.
