On Changes Of Ache Lhamo

During the fast development of the globalization and informatization,Tibetan opera is encountering the same situation as other traditional operas: drastic decrease of the audience,shortage of effective inheritance,lost of craft,survival problem of folk performance group,and so on.However,Tibetan opera is still different from other Chinese traditional operas,as it is an important part of Tibetan's daily life.In this thesis,This thesis focuses on how to make Tibetan opera ‘Ache Lhamo' develop well under the new historical period.Actually,there might be several approaches,such as logical thinking relied on the particularity of Ache Lhamo and the theory of the intangible cultural heritage protection,or the empirical research based on the successful experience of other traditional operas.However,the author employed a more acceptable method here,in which Ache Lhamo was placed in itself community and then was studied through analyzing its relation to people's living life,as well as her detailed changes and interaction process.Additionally,the driven power of the changes and its impact on Ache Lhamo were also studied in the thesis.Ultimately,all above problems about the development of Ache Lhamo will be solved,and Ache Lhamo is prospected to fast develop through absorbing the useful aspects and avoiding the drawbacks.Based on the practical investigation in the skyor-mo lung Tibetan opera troupe in the Jiare village,Duilong-Deqing district,Lhasa,the author extensively studied the changing of Tibetan opera troupe from the aspects of the form and content of the performance,the management mode of the opera troupe,the living condition and ideas of the actress,and the relationship between the opera group and the village,etc.as well as the comparison of phenomena observed in other places,the influence force and driven power of Ache Lhamo changes was revealed.In addition,the history traces of Ache Lhamo were compared and analyzed to reveal the influencing factors or ways of changes and to explore the cultural logic from the social and cultural phenomena.The conclusion of the thesis is that Ache Lhamo is not only a partial remnant of social development in Tibet,but also accompanied by continuous development.Its influence force is the social structure,and the driven power is attributed to the people's changing idea and pursuit for the benefit.In the new historical period,the development of Ache Lhamo is mainly affected by the policy,market economy,cultural interaction and people's idea.Certainly,their effect degree shows difference in different region,but Ache Lhamo represents recreation.The main contribution of this thesis is that it provides a helpful platform for above conclusion,through abundant of practical investigation.Under the new historical condition,Ache Lham may develop towards several different directions.They are not right or wrong,good or bad,it belongs to a part of changes.In a word,research on the ‘Tradition' for the traditional culture and art is valuable,but its ‘change' makes up the eternal theme.
