A Study On The Cultural Carrier Of Patriotism Education

The educational carrier is a crucial element in the patriotism education system.There is a close relationship between culture and patriotism education.Attaching great importance to cultural construction and using it as a carrier to carry out patriotic education has become a national consensus and a universal phenomenon in the society,and it has also aroused widespread concern in the academic community.This article comprehensively and systematically explains a series of important issues on the cultural carrier of patriotism education,which it takes culture as the perspective of research,takes carriers as an important handle,takes the intrinsic link between culture and patriotism education as the starting point,takes Marxist theory as the basic guiding ideology,takes cultural studies and related cultural theories as theoretical supports,and takes increasing the pertinence,effectiveness,attractiveness,and appeal of patriotism education as the ultimate goal.The cultural carrier of patriotism education is related to three conceptions: culture,patriotism education and carrier.In essence,the cultural carrier is an objective reality which accompanies the cultural evolution,is a cultural symbol with value,and it also is a means of transmitting the value.It presents the distinctive features which are the organic unity of ideology and aesthetic imagery,organic unity of stability and development,and organic unity of regionality and commonality.The cultural carrier of patriotism education originates from the internal fit of the ideological nature of culture and the fundamental purpose of patriotism education which directs the free and all-round development of human beings,the external fit of culture diffusion and the development of patriotism education.Besides,it develops with the internal contradictions,social practice,state administrative power,social cooperation and forced pressure.And typical styles with the symbolic meaning of conventional culture have gradually emerged in the course of long-term historical development,such as language,writing,books,newspapers and other mass media broadcast television,computer networks and other emerging mass media,cultural venues construction,rules and regulations,role models,arts,festivals,etc.They can be divided into three systems,which are symbol system,organizational system and ritual system according to different presented forms and the difference in the mechanism of action.History and practice fully show that cultural carrier of patriotism education has a significant value.It can not only guarantee the integrity of the patriotism education system,enhance the effectiveness of the patriotism education process,but also can store culture and evoke citizens' cultural memory;choose culture and shape the cultural identity of the citizen;pass culture and seek citizen's cultural identity;innovate culture and integrate social ideology.Obviously,the realization of the value on the cultural carrier of patriotism education must have a series of preconditions.At the same time,it must follow a series of basic principles.Since the founding of New China,especially the reform and opening up,cultural carrier of patriotism education in our country has continued to expand and develop,and its influence and radiation are increasing day by day during the process of the socialist spiritual civilization construction and the strategy of strengthening the country's culture.At the same time,there are many problems and challenges in the cultural carrier of patriotism education in the era of cultural globalization,socialist marketization,and information technology.The ideological content encounters the impact of heterogeneous cultures which presents the delocalization,deideology,and denuclearization.The blockade of cultural alienation in construction and development manifests itself in the severe destruction of the traditional roots of construction and development,as well as the material problems in the era of construction and development.The value function encountered deconstruction of objective factors,reflecting the value of the function for the discrete and weakened.Therefore,we can adopt four measures to deal with the problems and challenges in the construction of the cultural carrier for patriotism education: dialectically treating the contradictory relations in the process of building,strengthening the construction of group culture,constructing unique identifiers of cultural carriers,and establishing a long-term mechanism.So as to promote the benign construction and development of cultural carrier in patriotism education,and continue to enhance the pertinence,effectiveness,attraction,and appeal of the patriotism education in the new era.
