A Comparative Study Between The Chinese Characters On The Tsinghua Bamboo Slips And The Ancient Chinese Characters Of Jin-xi

At present,with the constant publishment of the Tsinghua Bamboo Slips,more and more scholars have noticed the Chinese characters’ feature of Jin-Xi in the Tsinghua Bamboo Slips text,but their results are scattered and unsystematic.In this thesis,based on the research results of scholars,we do a comprehensive,systematic and careful comparative study between the Chinese characters on the Tsinghua Bamboo Slips and the ancient Chinese characters of Jin-Xi,from the perspective of the configuration of Chinese Characters and the relationship between Chinese characters and words.The main contents of this article are as follows:In the first chapter,we state the background and motivations of our topic,provide a brief introduction about the content of the Tsinghua Bamboo Slips,illustrate the research situation of the Chinese characters on the Tsinghua Bamboo Slips and the ancient Chinese characters of Jin-Xi by examples,review the previous research achievements detailedly,and state the research methods and the research significance.In the second chapter,from the perspective of the configuration and the style of Chinese Characters,we analyse the Chinese characters on the Tsinghua Bamboo Slips one by one,which have the Chinese characters’ feature of Jin-Xi.In the third chapter,from the perspective of“the same Chinese character,the different words”and“the same word,the different Chinese characters”,we do a detailed reorganization about the implicit and complicated relationship between Chinese characters and words in the Tsinghua Bamboo Slips and the literatures of Jin-Xi.And we have noticed that some relationships between Chinese characters and words in the Tsinghua Bamboo Slips should be affected by the ancient Chinese characters of Jin-Xi.In the fourth chapter,we provide a comprehensive analysis on the cause of the Chinese characters’ feature of Jin-Xi in the most of the Tsinghua Bamboo Slips,that is to say,most literatures in the Tsinghua Bamboo Slips have gone through a inexhaustive transcribing process from the Jin characters to the Chu characters.In the comparative study between the Chinese characters on the Tsinghua Bamboo Slips and the ancient Chinese characters of Jin-Xi,we not only pay attention to their similarities and differences of the configuration and the style,but also have a comprehensive analysis,combining the relationship between Chinese characters and words,the literatural text and the literatural spreading history.The final conclusion of this paper is:because most of the Tsinghua Bamboo Slips are not self-existent in the Chu area and are from the Jin area,so they had been written by Jin characters before they were introduced into Chu area.But when they were introduced into Chu area,these Tsinghua Bamboo Slips literatures went through an inexhaustive transcribing process from the Jin characters to the Chu characters,therefore some Chinese characters’ feature of Jin-Xi were retained in the Tsinghua Bamboo Slips text.
