Conscience is one of the most important psychological qualities of human beings.At present,many philosophers and psychologists have cowhnducted many theoretical and empirical studies on conscience from different perspectives,and have explored and analyzed the connotation and characteristics of conscience in the context of Chinese culture.At the same time,although previous studies carried out cross cultural study of East and West,few studies of conscience in different countries belong to the oriental culture,so it is difficult to reveal the similarities and differences between various sub-cultural groups in the conscience under the eastern collectivism cultures.Therefore,the study based on the traditional culture resources of China and Vietnam,from the psychological point of view,the structure,characteristics and influencing factors of Chinese and Vietnamese college students' conscience are systematically comparative studied to further reveal and explain the similarities and differences between the Chinese and the Vietnamese students cross cultural conscience.This thesis mainly carried out in three researches to explore the cross-cultural characteristics of the conscience of Chinese and Vietnamese contemporary college students and their influencing factors.The main contents are as follows:Based on the internal structure of Chinese college students' conscience,the purpose of Study One is to explore the applicability of the questionnaire for Chinese adolescents' conscience assessment in Vietnamese college students,and to test their reliability and validity.In accordance with the standard procedures in translation and psychometric questionnaire revised,according to their conscience assessment questionnaire and translation version Chinese Vietnamese version,and were on the China 702 and Vietnam 690 college students were surveyed,and then analysis the reliability and validity of the questionnaire.Similar to China students,Vietnamese university students also comply with the conscience structure model of eight factors(i.e.,gratitude,tolerance,honesty,heart,heart is not shame,filial heart,compassion and responsibility),the questionnaire has good structure effect degree,criterion validity,internal consistency reliability and weight to test the validity of college students in vietnam.The difference between the two countries is that there are differences in the contribution of the conscience of Chinese and Vietnamese college students to the total score of the conscience,showing the difference in the degree of self-identity between the two countries' college students.The results of this study show that the Chinese youth conscience assessment questionnaire also has good reliability and validity in Vietnamese college students.It can be used for cross-cultural study of Chinese and Vietnamese college students' conscience.Study Two aims to compare the development status and characteristics of college students' conscience in China and Vietnam.The Chinese and Vietnamese versions of the questionnaire were used to investigate 1,392 college students from China and 1,382 from Vietnam.The results showed that:(1)the structural validity and internal consistency reliability of the questionnaire in Chinese and Vietnamese college students were all met with psychological measurement requirements.(2)the college students' development of conscience in the overall level of 3.63 and 3.93,respectively,and in addition to the culture of shame scores had no significant difference,Chinese college students in the college students is significantly higher heart dimension Vietnam,and in other dimensions of conscience and the overall score in college students is slightly less than Vietnam;(3)the college students' level of conscience in gender,grade,whether the one-child,family,home,family structure,family income,and significant differences parents' cultural degree,but the differences in Chinese and Vietnamese culture under the background of both similarities,though there is a difference.These results indicate that the conscience of the development of university students at present is good,and the differences in demographic variables by the adjustment of the cultural factors,which may be the commonness and individuality of the two countries belong to eastern culture caused by.The purpose of Study Three is to examine family factors(parenting style,family environment),social factors(relationships)and individual factors(self-esteem)influence on College students' conscience development,and discuss the similarities and differences of the impact mechanism in Sino Vietnam cultural background.First,to investigate the status of Chinese and Vietnam students parenting styles,family environment status,interpersonal relationship and individual self-esteem,and then through the correlation analysis and regression analysis and latent variable model analysis,model construction and comparison ofinfluencing factors of college students and conscience.The results showed that the mother's emotional warmth and intimacy between parenting styles,family environment,teacher-student relationship and virtual relationships,self-esteem can have interactive influence on College Students' conscience level,but there are significant differences in the impact of the cultural way.Mother's emotional warmth of parenting style can not only directly predict college students Chinese conscience level,but also indirectly to affect its conscience level through self-esteem,contradiction between family environment and virtual relationships;and mother's emotional warmth of parenting style can only indirectly through self respect,close family environment and the relationship between teachers and students to influence college students in Vietnam the level of conscience.In conclusion,teenagers conscience assessment questionnaire can be used as a effective tool for cross-cultural research of college students and their students' conscience,factors of internal structure,development status and characteristics and influence exist certain cultural similarities,there are certain cultural differences,which may be lead to the two countries belong to the eastern culture in common and the personality of the premises.
