| The main content of this thesis is a comparative study of the order of Chinese and Malagasy.This research will focus on the comparison between Chinese and Malagasy sentence’s element order.Each sentence element has its own characteristics and location in the sentence is to become a sentence order.This thesis gives us a look at these two lexical issues of Chinese and Malagasy.The full text is divided into five chapters.The first chapter summarizes the achievements of Chinese and Malagasy word order,and points out the reasons for this topic and the research focus and research perspective.Let us know why we choose this topic.In fact,we will know the importance of word order from this chapter.Every country has its own mother tongue.In order to be able to communicate well,we have to know the language of other countries,but we can not do the sentences randomly.We should know that the word order is an organic part of the language,so the understanding of language should recognize the word order.From this chapter,we can see that Chinese and Malagasy belong to different languages.In view of the location of China and Madagascar and the possible other reasons for their previous population stories,we will know that the general derivation of the Chinese language family should belong to the Han Tibetan language family,and the Malagasy language family should belong to the South Island language family.In addition,this chapter deals with the two word order patterns that have been studied,and what methods have they used.Not all of these scholars have always studied the word order of Chinese or Madagascar language,but some only study one part of the grammar,for example,some talk about the attributive,some talk,some talk about nouns,and some talk about clauses.These all become sentence order.Talk about the comparison of the word order between Chinese and Malagasy.This chapter looks at the noun features of the two languages,the order of possessive and nouns,the order of the deixis and nouns,the word order of adjectives and nouns,the word order of numerals and nouns,the order of instructions,numbers,adjectives and nouns.In other words,all the word order of two languages related to nouns.In this chapter,we compare the word order of Chinese and Malagasy with other languages: English and French.The reason for the choice of these two languages is because in China,in addition to Chinese,the choice of Chinese is English,and then in French in Malagasy.In one part,we look at thecharacteristics of the nouns of Chinese and Malagasy.The position of nouns is the order of nouns and adjectives,nouns and possessive order,nouns and demonstrative pronouns,nouns and numerals.The other part is Chinese and the Malagasy language and noun possessive word order.The possessive and noun word order in Chinese is the possessive noun structure or GenN.Malagasy is a noun possessive structure or NGen,and the French is also the possessive structure of the noun,or the NGen.As for English,we can see that sometimes it can be like the Chinese structure,sometimes as a Chinese structure.Can Malagasy with English and French as English possessive noun and so no dominant order sequence.In the third part,there are Chinese and Malagasy demonstrative and noun word order,first look at the Chinese situation,then the Malagasy dialect.It’s the same as when we look at these situations in English and French.There are two general deixis: proximal and distal.There are many different situations,such as French,English and Malagasy,which also exist in plural form,but this is not found in Chinese.Then we will look at the word order of Chinese and Malagasy adjectives and nouns.Looking at the adjectives in Chinese and Malagasy,we will find their similarities and differences,for example,in Malagasy and adjectives can usually overlap,and the adjectives in Chinese can not add the Adverb "very" before the adjectives are overlapped.There are no verbs and adverbs before Chinese adjectives,and no quantifiers can be found after adjectives.There are prepositions before Malagasy adjectives.Prepositions should not be placed behind them or pronouns.So there is no preposition after the Malagasy language.The structure type of Chinese sentence is subject + predicate(SVO).The structure of Malagasy sentence is predicate + subject.The same is true of the word order of Chinese and Malagasy numerals and nouns.We will know the similarities and differences.For example,the same situation is that adjectives are in the middle of numbers and nouns,only the number is different from that of the noun.We look at this chapter in different situations.The last part is about the word order of Chinese,Malagasy,deixis,numbers,adjectives and nouns.Since we have looked at these words,we know from these and different examples that the word order of the Chinese language is(Dem-Num-Adj-N),and the Malagasy language is(Dem-N-Adj-Num).In the third chapter,in this chapter,we discuss the word order of Chinese and Malagasy prepositions and noun phrases.Our approach is to first look at the prepositions in the two languages,and see the functions of prepositions and their phrases.Then in the second part,we have the word order between Chinese and Malagasy relative clauses and nouns.From some examples,we will know that Chinese belongs to the relative clause before the noun(RelN),and Malagasy belongs to the relative clause after the noun(NRel).In the third part,we discuss the word order between Chinese and Malagasy subjects,objects and verbs.Because there are six possible word order,we will see which Chinese and Malagasy languages belong to in this part.The same way,in the fourth part,there are the word order of the Chinese and Malagasy subjects and verbs,and the fifth part is the object of the two languages and the word order of the verb.In the sixth part,we have the word order of degree words and adjectives in Chinese and Malagasy.The degree words and the adjective words in Chinese are known to be degree words before adjectives.Generally speaking,the Malagasy word is the degree word after the adjective.We also look at the interrogative sentences in the seventh parts in the two part,and we look at the interrogative sentences carefully.The last part is to look at the adverbial subordinate conjunctions and clauses in two languages. |
