Comparative Study On The Russian And Chinese Metaphors In Political Discourses

In recent years,political linguistics,as a new interdisciplinary subject,has been extensively studied in many fields.Political linguistics research involve politics,cognitive linguistics and linguistics.As an important research object of political linguistic,political metaphor undoubtedly has a high research value.G.Lakoff is the first scholar in the world to systematically study political metaphors.The relevant research methods and theories have laid a solid foundation for subsequent research.The contemporary political linguistics has formed the Ural School of Political Linguistics,which is represented by ?.?.???????,and is also active such as the Volgograd School,the Petersburg School and the Voronezh School.The purpose of this research is to review the historical context of political metaphor studies,the latest research findings and developments of political metaphors.We also attempt to carry out localized research.This research is based on philosophical theory,conceptual metaphor theory and metaphorical modelling theory.Starting with the social context,the research aims to analyze the similarities and differences of metaphors in Russian and Chinese political discourses from the cognitive and cultural perspectives.Political metaphor is a “prism” that reflects the ideology and political ideas of the country.Therefore,the research helps to deeply understand the consistency and difference between the two countries on the idea of governing the country and their ideology.The practical analysis of metaphors in Russian and Chinese political discourse includes two parts.The first part concretely analyzes the political metaphor models related to “human”,the model can be called “personification”.The personification model includes three sub-modes,for instance: physiological metaphor model,diseasemetaphor model and kinship metaphor model;the second part concretely explains the“social metaphor ”,the social metaphor model includes three sub-models,such as: war metaphor,game metaphor and drama metaphor.The purpose of comparative analysis of metaphor modells in Russian and Chinese political discourse is to deeply understand the similarities and differences in thinking ways,culture and ideology of Chinese and Russion political field.The aim of the research is to provide linguistic reference for the cooperation between China and Russia in the political field.
