Abstract/Summary:
Archery-ceremony was a kind of important ceremonial activity in ancient China,which had been well-developed in Pre-Qin Dynasty.The name of archery-ceremony originally appears in Three-Li,which was a theoretical foundation of Li in ancient China.This paper presents a systematic study on archery-ceremony mainly based on Three-Li and the main contributions are listed as follows:In Chapter 1,first investigate the methodology for categorizing the archery-ceremony and indicate the category which archery-ceremony belongs to,then study archery-ceremony from several perspectives,i.e.,the characterization,participants and ceremony.In Chapter 2,study Dashe,Binshe,Yanshe and Xiangshe in the following perspectives,respectively:the inherence,category,hierarchy,time,place,ceremony,and so on.In Chapter 3,first compare the two papers "Yi-Li" and "Xiangshe-Li" and figure out the paradigm of Xiangshe,then reveal the difference between Xiangshe of Xiangdafu and Xiangshe of Zhouzhang.In Chapter 4,first specify the significance of studying the appliances of Li and indicate the inherence and extension of the appliances of archery-ceremony,then discuss the materials and methods for studying the appliances of Li,and investigate tens of appliances for examples.In Chapter 5,first review the music of archery-ceremony and indicate the importance of studying the music of archery-ceremony,then study the music of archery-ceremony in the following perspectives:the instruments,rules,Zhengge and Shejie.
