Objective This paper systematically reviews the theory and application methods of diet therapy in this period,discusses the cultural elements that influence the formation and development of diet therapy,and further enriches the contents of traditional Chinese medicine diet and the characteristic diet therapy methods.Methods Apply to TCM literature and statistical methods to analyze the taste,return,class,disease of food material.Results There are 381 kinds of food(medicine),18 types,13 types of dosage forms and 77 kinds of diseases and syndromes.1.Food(Herbal medicine)category distribution:Commonly used are fruits,followed by aquatic products,vegetables,spices,meat 1.1 Fruits: Jujube,lotus seed,walnut,longan meat,pears,almonds,water chestnuts,hawthorn.1.2 Aquatics: turtle,jellyfish,Crucian carp,kelp,Cuttlefish bone,mussels,clams.1.3 Vegetables: Yam,lotus root,white radish,lily,leek,wax gourd,mustard.1.4 Condiment: Wine,jujube,sugar,honey,salt,rock sugar,licorice,garlic,brown sugar.1.5 Meats: Pork belly,pork,lamb,pig lung,beef,pig liver,pig kidney,pig's trotters.2 Food(Herbal medicine)Branch distribution:Commonly used in internal and external diseases.The internal diseases were mainly spleen,stomach,lung and kidney.The main exogenous diseases were tuberculosis and dysentery.3 Diseases Food(Herbal medicine)distribution:Common diseases are consumptive disease,cough,stomach pain,tuberculosis,diarrhea cases,cholera.3.1 Consumptive disease: jujube,rice,yam,lotus seed,walnut,longan meat,honey,astragalus,glutinous rice,coix seed,white sugar,poria,ginger,pig stomach.3.2 Cough disease: almond,rock sugar,ginger,fritillary,white sugar,white radish,honey,lily,chicken,pig lung,jujube,pear,tea.3.3 Stomach pain: ginger,pork belly,bergamot,rice wine,lemon,cinnamon,squid bone,pork,sugar,rock sugar,galangal,pepper,egg shell,rose,scorpion,fragrant.3.4 Tuberculosis disease: jujube,lily,lotus seed,ginkgo,rock sugar,wine.3.5 Diarrhea cases: tea,ginger,sugar,honey,brown sugar,dark plum 3.6 Cholera: ginger,salt,honeysuckle,buckwheat.Conclusions 1 widely used foodstuffs The unique conditions of geographical location,natural climate,and the food culture and rich dietary writings that are integrated in Shanghai have brought a variety of ingredients to the Shanghai area.People and doctors in Shanghai will rationally use some food(medicine).Applied to various diseases,it enriches the content of food.2 Pay great attention to the role of the spleen and stomachBased on the analysis of the properties and processing methods of food and medicine used by doctors in the Republic of China,as well as the concept of disease prevention and treatment.It is concluded that the diet therapy in Shanghai during the period of the Republic of China paid special attention to the care of the function of the spleen and stomach,inheriting zhang zhongjing's idea of "keeping the spleen strong all the year around".3 Focus on the use of daily foodstuffsBased on the investigation of historical and cultural background,Shanghai doctors often consider daily folk customs as a very important factor in the process of syndrome differentiation and dieting,which reflects their view of food therapy is close to life.For example,"wine,sugar" is a representative two types of foodstuffs.4 The tonic wind is prevailingDiet nourishing wind showed a new style of blending with Western diet nutrition.The prevalence of this trend is not only the traditional nourishing view since ancient times,but also the legacy of Jiangnan Wenbu culture,disease concept,both doctors and patients.And the superposition effect caused by many factors such as the promotion of business has promoted the formation of food supplement customs.
