Vocabulary Study Of Dunhuang Turpan Medical Document

This article is divided into two parts.The first part is a theoretical compilation,which makes a general picture of dunhuang turpan medical document from a macroscopic perspective.The second part is the dictionary compilation,which is the first special dunhuang turpan medical document dictionary.The first part is divided into three chapters:Chapter 1 is the introduction,which defines the research scope of the vocabulary of Dunhuang Turpan medical document from the perspective of proposition definition;reviews the research status of publicly published works,dissertations and periodical papers in this field,and analyses the research trend;introduces the collation and motto method,comparative analysis method and double evidence method used in this research.Four main methods,such as statistical summary method,are used to summarize the significance of this study.Chapter 2 summarizes the characteristics of the vocabulary of Dunhuang Turpan medical document,and summarizes the main characteristics of the research object as follows:1)stratification;2)duality;3)complexity;4)systematicness;5)timeliness.Chapter 3:The categories of vocabulary in Dunhuang Turpan medical document are classified according to different principles.It includes:(1)Substantive words(including nouns,verbs,adjectives and quantifiers)and functional words(including adverbs)according to their parts of speech;(2)Simple words,compound words and derivatives according to their sources;(3)Morphemes,words,phrases and phrases according to their levels;(4)General vocabulary and professional vocabulary(theoretical vocabulary,herbal vocabulary)according to their contents.(5)Other special and valuable vocabulary types(including core words,colloquial words,dialectal words and cognates)and so on.The dictionary compiles more than 600 groups of words.Due to the limitation of length and energy,the names of common medicines,prescriptions and acupoints which are easy to search in the herbal medicine,prescriptions and other specialized dictionaries are not included for the time being.The obligation to interpret the words included in the dictionary will be exhausted,but the meanings of the words appearing in the Dunhuang Turpan medical document are simple and complicated.Textual research,inclusion and lexical examples.
