| Kumbum Monastery,as the religious center of qinghai region and the center of Tibetan Buddhism during the revival period,and an important part of traditional Chinese architecture.It located in the spot of pluralistic cultures gathered.Architectures of Kumbum Monastery are the result of 563 years construction processes.In the existing research on the history of architectures of Kumbum Monastery,with the phenomena focused on the partilly spacious features,and enpahsing on the influences of Tibetan and Chinese-Han culture,but neglecting the systematic space or other pluralistic cultures.This dissertation on the basis of the kumbum monastery architectures ontology features,in the perspective of multiple heterogeneous cultural communication and localization,using literature research,on-the-spot investigation,and multidisciplinary research approaches such as architectural history to study under the interaction of architecture and culture Kumbum Monastery architectural history,and different period of macro historical network mechanism of action of the architectur al development.The research of this paper mainly includes the following three parts.The first part is the ontological study of the temple architecture of Kumbum Monastery.t the macroscopic scale,the regional structure of its 31 affliated temples,as well as the spatial relationship between with its tribes are analyzed.At the mesoscale level,the site selection and the overall spatial layout of the templ e are analyzed,while at the micro scale level,the group pattern and the spatial characteristics of the single building of the temple are studied.Systematically discusses and summarizes the ontological characteristics of the architectures from three dimensions.The second part is the study on the localization of the diverse and heterogeneous culture in the architectures of Kumbum Monastery.Based on the introduction of the heterogeneous culture background,process,and the historical process of building construction,through the selection of the core of the Kumbum Monastery building types,from space layout,architectural form,structure characteristics,decorative arts,five construction taboos clue,traces the Kumbum Monastery construction in the process of its evolution process of translation and localization of multiple cultures.It is concluded that the architectures are the complexity the multiple heterogeneous culture.The third part is the study on the mechanism of the development and evolution of the architectures of Kumbum Monastery.From the perspective of the evolution and interaction of politics,religion,nationality and traffic driving forces,this paper reveals the functional mechanism of the development of architectures of Kumbum Monastery in the process of the localization of diverse and heterogeneous cultures in Qinghai province.Under the dominant role of social politics and religious communication,with the influence of traffic,trade and ethnic migration,the embryonic form of the monastery was built,and the multi-cultural architectural intention began to emerge.By political master,integration,regional economic development at the same time,under the joint action of Kumbum Monastery institute building system to completion,and the characteristics of the architectural complex multicultural intention gradually to finalize the design.Under the influence of the regional shift of religious development caused by the change of political power,the architectures of Kumbum Monastery maintains the original ontological characteristics.This dissertation provides some supplement to the existing architectural ontology and historical research of Kumbum Monastery,and is of guiding significance to the static protection and dynamic development of thar monastery and Tibetan Buddhist temple architecture in Qinghai province. |
