The herringbone gear planetary gear transmission system is widely used in ship and other equipment.The research on its load sharing and vibration characteristics has important significance for improving system's fatigue life and decreasing vibration and noise.The herringbone planetary gear transmission system with composite ring gear is the main target in this thesis.The load sharing and vibration characteristic of system is studied by theoretical analysis and experiment,the main content is as follows.1)The statics load sharing characteristics of herringbone gear planetary gear transmission with composite ring gear are investigated.The composite ring gear stiffness analysis model static and the static load sharing model of herringbone planetary gear transmission with composite ring gear are established.The influences of the statics load characteristic.of system are analysed,and compared with ordinary herringbone planetary gear transmission system.The influence factors include torque?supporting stiffness of center component ? floating quantity of center component ? geometric parameters and the gear errors.2)The dynamic model of herringbone planetary gear transmission with composite ring gear is established.The time-varying meshing stiffness with meshing phase is proposed Center component Floating,time-varying meshing stiffness with meshing phase,synthetic transmission error,support stiffness are considered in the dynamics model.The transverse-torsional coupled governing equation is derived.3)The dynamics load sharing characteristic of herringbone gear planetary gear transmission with composite ring gear is studied.The effects on system load sharing caused by the operating condition?supporting stiffness and the gear errors are analyzed.The trajectory of the sun gear center and floating ring center of system under different speed is investigated.By compared with ordinary herringbone planetary gear transmission system,the herringbone planetary gear transmission with composite ring gear has more advantages on dynamic load performance.The meshing forces modle with meshing phase is established and analyzed.The effects to load sharing characteristic of herringbone gear planetary gear train caused by the gear teeth number adjustment and the planet gear angle fine-tuning these two kinds of meshing phase adjustment methods are studied.A herringbone planetary gear transmission with composite ring gear system is set.The experiments are carried out.The accuracy of dynamic load sharing model is verified.The effectiveness of the composite ring gear design and phase adjustment design on system load sharing is verified.4)The vibration characteristic of herringbone gear planetary gear transmission with composite ring gear is studied.The effects on system vibration caused by the operating condition?gear errors?supporting stiffness and the ring gear's torsional stiffness are analyzed.These results are compared with ordinary herringbone planetary gear transmission system.The effects to vibration reduction of herringbone gear planetary gear train with composite ring gear caused by the gear teeth number adjustment and the planet gear angle fine-tuning these two kinds of meshing phase adjustment methods and the tooth profile modification are analyzed.The effectiveness of the composite ring gear,phase adjustment and the tooth modification on system vibration suppression is verified by vibration experiments.
