Industrialized construction has raised the requirements of procurement methods used in the construction industry.The rapid development of e-commerce offers efficient and effective solutions,however the large number of participants in the construction industry means that the data involved are complex,and problems arise related to volume,heterogeneity,and fragmentation.Thus,the sector lags behind others in the adoption of e-commerce.In particular,data integration has become a barrier preventing further development.Traditional e-commerce platform,which considered data integration for common product data,cannot meet the requirements of construction product data integration.The information retrieval and recommendation of product or service on the e-commerce platform cannot fully meet the purchase decision needs of users on the e-commerce platform of the construction industry.To solve the problem of information integration,retrieval and decision-making in the electronic procurement of building components,this paper proposes the integrated framework,information retrieval model and recommendation model under the BIM environment,providing a solution for the development of e-commerce in the construction industry.The main research work includes the following aspects:1)Construction components procurement information integration.This study aimed to build an information-integrated e-commerce platform for construction components procurement to overcome the shortcomings of massive,distributed and heterogeneous procurement information existing platforms.It proposed a platform based on Building Information Modelling(BIM)and linked data,taking an innovative approach to data integration.It used industrialized construction technology to support product standardization,BIM to support procurement process,and linked data to connect different data sources.The platform was validated by a case study.With the development of an e-commerce ontology,industrialized construction components information was extracted from BIM models and converted to Resource Description Framework(RDF)format.Related information from different data sources was also converted to RDF format,and Simple Protocol and Resource Description Framework Query Language(SPARQL)queries were implemented.The platform provides a solution for the development of e-commerce platform in the construction industry.2)Construction components information retrieval.This research focused on the information retrieval methods for construction components.Firstly,it introduced the general information retrieval technology,and analyzed the requirements of construction components information retrieval.Then,a retrieval model of construction components based on BIM was proposed,and the model was verified by a case study.3)Construction components recommendation based on user preference.First,the paper analyzed the preference attributes of e-commerce users in the construction industry by means of questionnaire.Second,the main influencing factors of user preference were summarized.User preference factors were introduced into the context recommendation model.And the model was verified by a case study.In the process of model construction,user preference ontology and context feature ontology are constructed by ontology technology,which are used as context model to express preference,and preference feature extraction is carried out.Similarity is calculated by vector space model to generate recommendation results.Finally,expert evaluation method is used to evaluate the recommendation model.This paper is combined with the actual background of e-commerce in the construction industry and based on e-commerce,semantic WEB,and preference theory,etc.The proposed model can help users to quickly and accurately find the products that meet their needs from the mass information when they conduct electronic procurement activities.For users,it can improve shopping experience in e-procurement activities;for product suppliers,it can increase the sales radius of products and enhance the market competitiveness of enterprises.
