| In the late Ming Dynasty, gardens in the south of China showed the trend of development, and the literati participated in them one after another. The participation of the craftsmen in the gardening has also been greatly improved compared with the previous generation.Under the cooperation of the literati and the craftsmen, the gardening has shown many changes in the craftsmanship and appreciation concepts. The shape of the garden has also undergone tremendous changes at this time. This kind of change in garden style is centered on the Wu area and gradually spread to other parts of China..In the late Ming Dynasty,Qi Biojia,a Vietnamese man, built the Yushan Garden as an example, and based on Qi Biojia’s diary, garden diary, garden poems and other documents.Firstly, through Qi Biaojia’s gardening, this paper explores the relationship between the owners of literati gardens and gardens, and combs out the causes of Yushan garden form from the process and details of gardening.Secondly, space and human behavior interact with each other.Yushan gardening is Qi Biaojia’s living place, which not only affects Qi Biaojia’s behavior activities, but also shows Qi Biaojia’s way of life and the way of gardening space formation. Therefore, through the discussion of Qi Biojia’s garden life,we can see the interaction between the literati’s behavior in the garden and the formation of garden space. Finally,Qi Biojia not only integrated his behavior and life into the garden, but also injected his own ideological connotation into the construction of garden space. Therefore, taking Qi Biojia and Yushan gardens as the subjects of study,we can see not only the gardening world in Qi Biojia’s horizon, but also the cultural situation of an era.Garden is not an ordinary building, but a reflection of the artistic practice of combining elegance and prosperity of the gardener. Therefore, reading gardens is inseparable from studying the thoughts of gardeners. This article takes the landscaper as the research clue and watches the process of the formation and development of gardens.I hope that we can not only see the development of the space form of the garden surface, but also penetrate into the spirit of the garden through the understanding of the idea of the landlord. |
