With the increasingly prominent role of rail transit in the urban and urban agglomeration of backbone transportation public transport,it's necessary to improve the attractiveness of rail transit, and optimize the residents' travel structure.Taking the green transportation and sustainable development of the transportation strategy are important measures to solve the urban traffic problems. For urban rail transit, the planning, design, operation and management of its projects all require passenger flow forecasting to provide data support. However, passenger flow forecasting involves many factors such as city factors, land use, transportation system, population, employment, and policies. For the complex analysis elements and processes in the process,on the one hand,it is necessary to further improve the passenger flow prediction method and improve the prediction accuracy. It is essential to strengthen the evaluation analysis, qualitative judgment, scientific decision-making,and grasp of uncertain factors on the prediction results. The aim of this research is to improve passenger flow flexibility and resistance to risks in rail transit. The paper firstly analyzes the research results at China and abroad, sums up the population distribution law,the mechanism of population flow, various models of quantitative measurement of population distribution;analyzes the theoretical methods of rail transit network planning and optimization from the perspectives of network topology, demand, and optimization The process of network planning and optimization could be examined by these algorithms.By summarizing a large number of passenger flow prediction related theories, the four-stage method, dynamic traffic distribution, line passenger flow analysis, and passenger flow analysis are analyzed. This paper takes the influencing factors of urban rail transit demand analysis as the main research content, and focuses on the analysis of the population distribution, the optimization of the network based on demand, and the characteristics of passenger flow on the line and station. The main work of this essay includes:(1)Taking the traffic area as the main research unit, the grid area of the study area is gridded by the precision demand required for the passenger flow forecasting of the rail transit, and the grid density unit, population density are analyzed in the grid unit.Analysis of population gradient;through model calculations, comparative analysis of the relationship between population gradients, traffic distribution, and traffic distribution, and the concept of “anti-gravity contour line demand model” concept to unify the "push-pull" characteristics of population distribution and the consistency of traffic characteristics..(2)In order to improve the scientificity and operational efficiency of the urban rail transit network planning, the characteristics of the rail transit network are studied, and the network planning and optimization methods are taken into account with the demand characteristics are proposed. In the analysis process,a node-edge network is established.Based on the crosssection traffic, the importance of nodes is calculated, and a “node-flow” matrix is established to form an optimal operating benefit model of time effectiveness-fare-operating cost.Combining the genetic algorithm with the scale control, according to the coupling factors of the line network and the passenger flow, the application of the line network planning and optimization process is analyzed in practice.(3)Based on the travel distribution, analyze the characteristics of the travel mode of the passenger flow of the rail transit and the characteristics of the connection passengers.Based on the passenger flow of the section, the calculation method and influence factors of the amount of travel and cross section are further obtained. At last analyze the application of demand characteristics in practical issues such as corridor traffic characteristics and extension lines.(4)With the consideration of the OD distribution of the passenger flow at metro station, the calculation methods of the passenger flow influence range of the three stations are respectively proposed and applied in the scope of rail transit research;the impact of the population, land use, transportation system and other factors on the analysis of the station connection can be reached.
