Research On The Decoration Styles In The East Learning From The West For Recent Architecture In Natong

The decoration styles for recent Chinese architecture connect modern Chinese architecture and traditional Chinese architecture by learning from the west,which focuses on reflecting the attitudes changes of Chinese society towards western architecture art facing with the forceful invasion of western culture.At that time,without the planning and guidance as a political center as well as the colony and westernization that was forced to open to the world;however,in such a short time,a group of recent architectures with strong functions,rich forms as well as extremely high humanistic value and artistic value emerged;the development of city planning and architecture styles in Nantong is the process of self-adjustment and active changes of citizens in a marginal city towards advanced thoughts and culture.And it motivates that Chinese people could apply ethnic wisdom to make the past serve the present and make foreign things serve China in turbulent days when confronted with internal and external problems,which is of great significance in the study of recent architecture history.This paper takes Nantong’s recent architecture influenced by the west as an example and makes field investigation and observation for the excellent existing recent architecture in Nantong on the basis of a large number of historical materials so as to have an in-depth analysis on the decoration styles for recent buildings in Nantong.By studying the decoration styles of Nantong’s recent architecture influenced by the west,it strives to explore the reasons,characteristics and paths for the causes and development of relevant features.The topic of this paper does not belong to mainstream study district from the perspective of study object and the research object also concentrates on the details easily to be ignored.Therefore,this paper expects to enrich recent Chinese architecture history and make its little contribution to the diversity of modern architecture decoration.The introduction starts from the research background and causes so as to arrange and analyze the relevant literature review in China and abroad.It also points out the insufficiency in recent study on the basis of it and determines the study objectives,significance,scope,object and content in this paper so as to make its study framework.This paper consists of 6 chapters.Chapter lmakes detailed manifestation for the background of Nantong’s recent architecture decoration styles influenced by the west,divides it into four stages and makes brief introduction to the decoration style of each stage.Chapter 2 analyzes the status quo of Nantong’s recent architecture decoration style influenced by the west and explains recent problems.Chapter 3 is supported by typical cases to introduce the several style terms appeared in the decoration of Nantong’s recent architecture influenced by the west.Chapter 4 categorizes and analyzes the decoration styles of Nantong’s recent architecture influenced by the west.Chapter 5 conducts the relevant visual perception experiment based on the mathematical statistics toward Nantong’s existing modern decoration styles so as to demonstrate the development track and style characteristics of Nantong’s modern decoration styles with the scientific experiment analysis data.Chapter 6 analyzes the reasons,features and paths for the production and development of such style characteristics so as to draw the conclusion that the culture fusion,social revolution,revolution of architecture technology,revolution of architecture materials as well as the changes of traditional architecture are the main reasons to advance and affect the production and development of decoration styles for recent architecture in Nantong in such a special period by learning from the west.And the wide coverage,diversity and openness are its main features;With starting late but developing fast,the localized revolution and expansion of friendship cycles is its main path.The final conclusion summarizes the main innovation and academic contribution.
