The Fundamental Plane Of Blazars And GRBs | | Posted on:2020-05-28 | Degree:Doctor | Type:Dissertation | | Country:China | Candidate:X Zhang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:1360330623956104 | Subject:Astrophysics | | Abstract/Summary: | | | After the launch of Fermi LAT,the research of blazars get in a new age.At the same time,many other telescope with different wavelengths also provide a lot of data for blazars with gamma ray.All this let us get a further research about the fundamental plane of blazars and also get a further understanding about the radiation process,jet and the oretical models of blazars.The main work of this academic dissertation is the fundamental plan fundamental plane are in chapter 1.In Chapter 2,we have collected a lot of different types blazars’ s sample with thepeak luminosity and the corresponding CCD metering peak frequency to do ourfundamental plane study from Fermi LAT.Meanwhile we also have collected two kind of sample for GRBs which include the data for long GRBs and short GRBs.We do the fundamental plane analysis between this two objects to findany common or different results comparing with others.The main results we get from our study are as follows:(i)There is a fundamental plane for GRBs and blazars between the peak luminosity and the peak frequency for our sample.(ii)The fundamental planes till exists even after correcting the peak luminosity with opening angle or beaming factor.In Chapter 3,we collected the sample of radiatively efficient blazars and radiatively efficient X-ray bursters(XRBs)to do the fundamental plane analysis.The main results of our study areas follows:(i)There is a fundamental plane for radiatively efficient blazars.(ii)This slop of fundamental plane is steeper compared with that of radiatively inefficient AGNs and XRBs.(iii)This fundamental plane also exist after correcting the radio luminosity and X-ray luminosity with opening angle or beaming factor.The main topic of this dissertation is the research of fundamental plane for blazars.My main works of the fundamentalplane for blazars are in Chapter 2 and Chapter 3.My two main results as follows:(1)There is a fundamental plane inpeak luminosity and peak between the Fermi balazars and Gamma bursters.Thismeans that these blazars and GRBs may have similar radiation process in the synchrotron radiation;(2)the radiatively efficientblazrs may have a new fundamentalplane which is diferent with the fundamental plane between the radiatively efficient AGNs and XRBs. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Fundamental plane, Blazar, Gamma burster, jet power, Black hole mass | | Related items |
