Nowadays,realizing the arbitrary manipulation of frequency,amplitude,phase and polarization of optical waves and then obtain miniaturized,lightweight and integrated optical devices are the most important research content in nano photonics and information optics.Metasurfaces,two dimensional artificial nano structure arrays,provide a new way for optical wave manipulation in nano scale.Metasurfaces not only can be used to realize flexible manipulation of frequency,amplitude and polarization of optical waves,but also can be used to realize effective manipulation of phase of optical waves in subwavelength scale,which provide endless possibilities and value in optical wave manipulation and the generation of optical devices in nanoscale.This thesis focus on the solution of key problems in optical field manipulation with metasurfaces.By introducing new optical material,new metasurface design and new physical mechanism,some key problems in this research area have been solved,and some new optical phenomenon have been generated and investigated.In the research of amplitude manipulation of optical fields: with few-layer design,a broadband diodelike asymmetric transmission for linear polarized waves in near-infrared has been realized by cleverly combing two metasurfaces with different optical functionalities;The dynamic control of working waveband of asymmetric transmission for circular polarized waves in near-infrared has also been realized with graphene based planar chiral metasurface.In the research of polarization manipulation of optical fields: By combining a L-shaped structure with nano antenna array,the cross-polarization conversion efficiency of L-shaped structure has been well manipulated and enhanced,and asymmetric cross-polarization conversion has been realized;By utilizing ultrathin gold nano antenna array which has anisotropic optical response,broadband and invertible linear-to-circular polarization conversion has been realized in nearinfrared.In the research of phase manipulation of optical fields: Gold rectangular column has been proposed creatively to realize manipulation of phase of circular polarized waves with high efficiency in near-infrared.Devisable and high performance spin Hall effect has been realized based on this kind of designs.The working efficiency in this design are much larger than any other single-layer metallic metasurface designs,which provide a new way for single-layer metasurface design.In the research of multi-dimensional manipulation of optical fields: By utilizing gold nano antenna based few-layer design,simultaneous manipulation of amplitude and phase of optical waves has been realized.Step further,simultaneous generation of high-efficiency broadband asymmetric anomalous refraction and reflection waves has been realized;two kind of gold nano antenna based few-layer metasurfaces with different spatial symmetry has been designed to realize simultaneous manipulation of polarization and amplitude of optical waves.Giant spin-selective transmission and engineered chirality in the near-infrared region has also been proposed with this kind of design.
