Research On The Standardization Policies In Korean

Standardization is one of the key factors in economy and industry.Recently,along with international trade continuous development,international economic,social,technological interchange and cooperation are proliferating as times goes by.Standardization has become a key factor in international trade,world economy and industry,gaining more and more importance in the world trade.Possessing an international standard can definitely generate some influence on world economy.Therefore,each country around the world is planning to make their own standard an international one.Under one standard,there exist complicated interest relationship related political factors such as national standard institutions.This paper researches on the dispute over and solutions to international standardization derived from differences in industrial standards.Since the liberalization of import in 1982,Korean capitalism economy has been developing continuously.After 1997,liberal market economy had become the main frame of Korean economy.Economic development in Korean could be regarded as the development of standards.Standardization of various standards changed related policies in related government institutions.For instance,communication industries should follow communication standards,while industrial field also follow the related standards.Standardization of standards has an enormous impact on Korean government,private companies and social and economic fields.To verify the developmental history in Korean standardization policies,this dissertation made a deeper analysis on characteristics of standardization policies from the early industrial policies to recent ones.From the research on <22012 act> in 1962,the changes in the process of Korean standardization would be analyzed chronically.Finally,this dissertation delved into how to deal with international standard disputes resulted from disparities in domestic and international standards.This dissertation asserts that standards approved by the government should be the best solutions.
