Many countries in the world have similar patriarchy culture include of China,so gender equality is a worldwide topic which should be studied.In Marx's view,the degree of female liberation is the best measure of social liberation.In this sense,the development of women is not isolated,and it is symbiotic with social development.There is no doubt that the current Chinese society,,women have gained more equitable development opportunities in the government's attention and advocacy,which is also known as "sexual rights",but it does not mean the end of gender politics.Gender politics are closely related to the power relations and the obtain of the gender rights are not represent the digestion of gender power.The culture of gender stereotypes constructed by the traditional patriarchal still control the people's thinking and behavior,gender order is covered with the flashy things,and the issues about gender to be ignored.In the field of higher education,there are some core concepts such as rationality,freedom,equality and democracy and so on.It can be seen that the proportion of women had a rapid growth from the data past the recent years,so gender equality in the higher education seems to have become redundant and meaningless.In nature,the gender power in higher education is not silent,but it is hidden in the every aspects of higher education.To promote the gender equality just as seeds in fertile soil in the field of higher education,it makes the reconstruct ion of gender order of higher education more important.Based on this,this paper chooses the theory of social gender theory,cultural capital theory and discourse power theory.It hold the gender power relations in higher education as the main line and goes to the gender culture level.The reversal of the proportion of boys and girls in colleges and universities has led to gender anxiety in higher education,which is hidden behind the phenomenon of gender power.Except that,gender power also exists in other aspects of higher education,the article elaborates the gender power from the college teachers of gender gap,college sexual harassment problems and the campus gender culture.The article shows a higher education of the gender power picture from point to face,from the phenomenon to the essence.This paper is divided into six parts.Firstly,the introduction introduces the origin of the research and significance of the study,carries out a detailed combing to the current situation of the study on the gender power in the field of higher education both at home and abroad.It points out the shortcomings of the existing research also elaborated the possible breakthrough of this research.Secondly,according to the research content there are some reasonable definition for the core concepts and related theory of including the social gender theory,cultural capital theory,discourse-power theory and so on.Thirdly,it is clarify the whole idea of the article and describes the research methods used.The main content of the first chapter describe the objective fact of the proportion of women in colleges and universities,and analyze the gender anxiety in the field of higher education under the reversal of gender ratio.The reversal of gender ratio is the trend of the development of the world higher education.It is also the embodiment of gender equality in education.The essence of gender anxiety is gender power relations.The second chapter mainly analyzes the gender differences in the career development of college teachers.The gender differences of cultural capital accumulation on time and gender division of labor model caused the different career development direction of the college teachers.Especially the female teachers in college career is difficult to get rid of the glass ceiling like a curse in general,both tied the individual's uniqueness,but also contain the development of higher education in depth.The third chapter mainly analyzes the essence of the phenomenon of sexual harassment in the field of higher education.It is an important reason that the knowledge power combine with the sex power to the occurrence of sexual harassment on campus.Meanwhile,the chilling effect that is incapable of action from the power needs to break.The fourth chapter starts from the campus culture of colleges and universities,and tries to show the strong penetration of gender power from a more extended level.College campus culture is not only the palace of enriching students' knowledge,but also the place for students' quality.From the two aspects of campus public space and soft culture,this paper makes an investigation of gender power.In the fifth chapter,through the analysis of the gender culture of higher education,the author puts forward the second stage of gender research in higher education,centering on the main line of "rebuilding the gender order of higher education".It is necessary to establish an effective support system of university organizations,and establish the gender order of the partnership model.Meanwhile,in the period of social transformation,women's subjective consciousness is also changed from the free to the self.At the end of the article,the author also explains the dilemma that the gender power may face and the vision to be achieved.
